Cathy Lee Lindsey

Cathy Lee Lindsey went home to Jesus on Wednesday, April 28th, at the age of 74. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Cathy’s family at www.andersonbethany.com. She is preceded in death by her husband, Al Lindsey; and her daughter, Vicki Spillman. Cathy is lovingly remembered by her children: Faith Eskeli, Alvin Lindsey, Jeff Lindsey and his fiancé Stephanie Allen Seabrease; grandchildren: Spencer Wong, Colton Eskeli, Jordan Topper, Lindsey Eskeli, Evangeline Rison, Johanna Eskeli, and Andrea Eskeli; as well as her precious great-grandchildren: Maynard Eskeli, Paxton Eskeli, and Hunter Callaway. Cathy was incredibly loving and kind to everyone she met. She would open her home on Holidays for people who had no one to be with. They would come as strangers and leave as family. This is a tradition her family intends to keep in her memory. Cathy’s favorite thing to do was play with her great-grandchildren and make them laugh. She was a light in the lives of everyone who knew her. Words can simply not describe how amazing she truly was. Cathy regularly donated to multiple charities, including the Salvation Army and the Roswell Community Kitchen. She felt called to follow the path laid out for us in Matthew 25:35-36: “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me…” The way she treated “the least of these” was incredible, and even more so if you had the blessing of being loved by her. Cathy showed everyone in her life how to love the lord and each other with all of their hearts. Although she will be greatly missed her family is resting in the fact that they will see her again. Cathy’s Family would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has kept them in constant prayer. They were not ready for her life on earth to end, but they are overjoyed knowing exactly where she is and that she is no longer in pain. At this time Cathy’s family has not decided on a service date.
