Earlene Clark

On Saturday, September 22, 2018, Mrs. Earlene Clark was called by our Heavenly Father and passed peacefully and gracefully, from this world to her glorious eternity in Heaven. Earlene was a Roswell resident for more than sixty years and was blessed by a wonderful marriage to Don Clark for the last forty-two years. Earlene and Don worked hard until their retirements and installed an equally strong work ethic in their children and grandchildren. Earlene worked as an escrow officer at Lawyer's Title in Roswell and Don for the State of New Mexico. Earlene and Don are dedicated members of Grace Community Church and have many close and loving friends in their church community, in the city of Roswell and throughout the United States. Those left to cherish memories of Earlene are her husband, Don; children: Ken Zangara (Kathy), Kevin Zangara (Alice), Danny Zangara, Jim Zangara (Toby), and Chandra Camp (Andrew); grandchildren: Jenny, KC, Ashley, Taylor and Tessa Zangara, Jonathan and Jacob Davis, Jordan and Jaylan Camp; seven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Janetta Knight (Richard); and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding Earlene in death were her father and mother, Earl and Ruth King; ex-husband, Jerry Zangara; sisters, Jo Ann Perry and Sharon Springs; and sister-in-law, Sally Clark. Earlene enjoyed life with Don and her family and loved Don's guitar playing and their singing songs together with family and friends. She was a fantastic cook and enjoyed cooking for others, watching the Food Network, and loved sharing great food, playing games and laughing at family gatherings. Earlene’s first priority each day was her quiet time with the Lord, and her daily Bible study, followed by a daily checkup with her son, Danny, sharing his blood sugar results of the morning. She will be greatly missed by us here, but we are comforted by the promise of spending eternity with Earlene and our Heavenly Father, just as she wanted. A Memorial and Celebration of Earlene Clark's Life will be held at Grace Community Church on Saturday, September 29, 2018, at 10:00 AM, with Pastor Rick Hale presiding over the services.
