ROSALEE SANCHEZ, 79, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2020, surrounded by her loved ones. Please take a moment and share a fond memory or thought with Rosalee’s family at www.andersonbethany.com. SERVICES: A Rosary for Rosalee will be held at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Thursday, July 30, 2020, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. On August 4, 1940, Rosalee was born to Hilario and Marian Sanchez in Carrizozo, New Mexico. Rosalee was a very unique person who had her own style, and there will never be another one like her. When she was happy, she was very pleased, but when she was mad, boy, you better step away, and she would defend anyone that needed it. Anyone who knows Rosalee knows that you had a friend for life. She gave us a lifetime full of stories from when she was a child to. Rosalee loved to dance and listen to music. She made the best tortillas and chili. If you did not have a place to stay, her house was open to you. We will miss you, and you will forever be in our hearts. SURVIVORS: Those left to cherish memories of Rosalee are her son, Richard Peralta and wife Rachel; grandchildren: Crystal Contreras of Roswell, New Mexico, Maggie Contreras of Austin, Texas, Santino Rodriguez of Austin, Texas, Johnny Peralta of Roswell, New Mexico, Isiac Sanchez (Kendy) of Roswell, New Mexico, David Ray Sanchez of Alamogordo, New Mexico, Orlando Sanchez of Alamogordo, New Mexico, Delia Salcido and husband Louie and their family, Desire Serna and her family, Sheila Serna and her family, Rachael Matta and her family, and Mercedes Guevara all of Roswell, Johnathan Garcia and his family of Socorro, New Mexico; twenty-four great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; sister, Julia Rodriguez, of Houston, Texas; brothers: Carlos Sanchez, of Houston, Texas, and Jesus Sanchez (Edward) of Roswell; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. PRECEDED: Rosalee was preceded in death by her daughter, Julie Rodriguez; son, David Ray Sanchez; siblings: John Suarez, Ted Suarez, Simon Sanchez, Marian S.K. Webb (Anna), Virginia S. Herrera, and Pauline S. Miller; grandchildren: Baby Fernando Rodriguez, Isaiah Blue Sanchez, and Anthony Matta. HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Johnny Peralta, Issiac Sanchez, Stephen Sanchez, Roman Reyes, Louie Salcido, Danny Suarez, David Loflin, and Ronny Rodriguez. The family would like to give a special “Thank You” to Bernice Lopez and Laverne Webb for the excellent care that was given to Rosalee. Rosalee’s family will be having a reception following the service, at 328 E. Hervey., Roswell, NM.
