Steve Andrew Soltero, 19, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023. Please take a moment to share a kind thought or memory with Steve’s family at www.andersonbethany.com. There will be a Viewing at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Thursday, October 26, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with a Rosary to follow at 6:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church on Friday, October 27, 2023, at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at South Park Cemetery. Stevie enjoyed spending time with his girlfriend Zayleen, his mom, sister, his brothers, and his cousins. He was close to his cousin Joseph “Lil Joe” Garcia and Juan “Jr.” Herera, but he loved all his cousins on both sides. His mom Serena was his first love, he adored his mom, his second love was his big sister Jasmine, his brothers and him have always had a solid bond with their big sister, they have always been there for each other, his third and only true love was with and for Zayleen Vale Zyberg, whom he met and fell in love with two and a half years ago. A year and a half after they were finally able to get their own place which they’ve had together for eleven months. Stevie recently acquired his first vehicle, and he was proud of his (Ranger) truck and enjoyed driving around in it. Stevie was well known for his “smile” which most of the time people, even relatives, could tell him and his twin Miguel apart. Stevie you’ll be missed by all of us so much but trust and believe you’ll never be forgotten; we will all keep you alive in our hearts through all the memories we have of you. Stevie, we love you always. Those left to eternally treasure and cherish memories of Stevie are his girlfriend, Zayleen Vale Zyberg; mother, Serena Contreras and partner Sergio Olivas; father, Martin Soltero Jr; sister, Jasmine Contreras; brothers: Martin Soltero III, Miguel Soltero and girlfriend Aaliyah Trujillo, and niece, Honesty Rose Soltero, Victor Soltero and girlfriend Ilse Guereque, David Gonzales III and Antonio Olivas; maternal grandmother, Helen Rodriguez and partner Nena Vallejos; uncles: Steven Ray Rocha, Ramon and Brittney Rocha, Tino Rodriguez and Serena, Tino Jr and Anthony Rodriguez, and his uncle Pelon Contreras; aunt Cathy Contreras and Felix; cousins: Victor Contreras Jr, and Victoria Contreras, Amorise and Avianna Contreras, Demetrio Herrera and wife Marina, Lea Rose Herrera and Isaih Contreras; special aunt whom he loved very much, Gloria Linker; great grandma, Lucia Angeles; and various other aunts, uncles, and cousins. paternal grandparents: Martin Soltero Sr. and Isidra Hernandez Soltero; aunts: Beatriz Soltero, Jacquelina Cueto and Yaretzy Moreno, Elizabeth Gonzales, Jenifer, Jose, Hugo Sebastian and Dariel Gonzales, Griselda Soltero, Exequio and Jatziry Soltero, Ana Soltero, Joel Camacho and Jazabel Soltero, Jesenia Soltero, Edgar, Joselina and Jaden Soltero, Marisela Soltero and Adrian, Damian and Antonio Bustos. Stevie is preceded in death by his grandfather, Steve A. Contreras; uncle, Victor “Sicc Vicc” Contreras Sr; great grandfather, Reyes “Pelon” Rodriguez; great aunt, Lucy Rodriguez; great grandparents: Pete “Piale” Contreras and Mary Rose Contreras; great uncle, Guadalupe “Lupe “Contreras; cousin, Desiree Lynette McMath. Those blessed to serve as honorary pall bearers are Jino Rodriguez, Steven Rocha, Ariel Lujan, Ginnie Salas, Natalie Contreras, Lucia Contreras, Joseph “Lil Joe” Garcia, Juan Herrera Jr. and Amorsita Padilla.
