Alberto A. Garcia, 66, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family in Midland, TX. There will be a Viewing at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home and Crematory on Friday, May 31, 2024, from 4 pm to 6 pm with a Rosary to follow at 6 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday June 1, 2024, at 10 am. Alberto A. Garcia was born on March 23, 1958. He lived in Roswell, NM until he moved to Midland, TX in 1985. Alberto worked for Glover Meat Packing Co. in Roswell, NM. He was the owner of Albert’s Wrecking in Midland, TX. for 35 years until his death. Alberto was a mechanic by trade but was also a Business Owner. He loved what he did and had a lot of knowledge in many areas. He built his home mainly on his own and was very proud, but at the same time very humble about his accomplishments. Alberto had many talents, he loved and enjoyed drawing at a young age along with his brother Manuel. He used those talents to paint his drawings on cars, trucks, and motorcycles. He was always ready to give advice on any problem or question you had for him. You could ask him anything about any kind of vehicle, electrical work, how things worked, etc. He could almost give you an answer to any question or problem without hesitating. Alberto helped a lot of people throughout his life. He never wanted to take credit, he just did it without expecting something in return. The family of Alberto would like to thank his friends from Midland, TX for their prayers, visits, and support, as well as countless friends in Roswell, NM. Many thanks to Abraham, Rafa, Pancho, Olguita and all those friends who supported him. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. “May you be resting in peace.” Alberto is survived by his 3 brothers: Manuel Garcia, Gerardo Garcia, Rosalio Garcia, and wife Barbara; Sister Maria Cruz Alvidrez and husband Domingo; 8 children: Sofia Garcia, Albert Garcia, Pavlo Garcia, Samantha Garcia, Alex Garcia, Crystal Rosa, Ashley Mendez, and Gilbert Lucero; 13 grandchildren: Faith, Sergio, Mason, Miguel, Liliana, Marley, Bentley, Lucas, Myiah, Talia, Xochiquetzal, Feyzi, and Mya; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Alberto is preceded in death by his parents: Natividad Garcia, and Lazara Aguilar; brothers: Modesto Garcia, Antonio Garcia, and Andres Garcia; sisters: Concepcion Garcia, Carmen Aguilar, Lupe Aguilar, and infant son Robert Garcia. PALLBEARERS; Brandon Abernathy, Pavlo Garcia, Alex Garcia, Gerardo Garcia Jr, Nicolas Garcia, and Julian Garcia. HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Albert Garcia Jr, Sergio Alvidrez, and Gerardo Garcia Sr. Alberto’s tribute was lovingly written by his family.
