Obituary for Alice Romero Alice Romero, 62, passed away on March 17, 2015 in Roswell. She was born on March 17, 1953 to Atanacio Martinez and Angelita Salinas in Mathis, TX. After earning her nursing degree, Alice became an LPN in the medical field. Alice married her husband, Camilo Romero III on July 28, 1979, celebrating 35 years of marriage. Passions included playing video games, chatting on Facebook, spending time with her family and hanging out with her grandchildren. Preceding her in death were Alice’s parents, two sisters: Diane Sanchez and Susan Villarreal and one grandson, Marcus Phillip Romero. Surviving Alice are her husband, Camilo F. Romero III; daughter, Angela M. Romero; son, Camilo F. Romero IV and wife Maria; three grandchildren: Esmeralda, Juan and Savanna Romero all of Roswell; four sisters: Lupe Lozano and husband of Roswell; Minnie Molina and her husband, Eldia Marez and Juanita Franco, Dominga Cavazos Sanchez; three brothers: Felix Martinez Sr, David Martinez and his wife, Atanacio Martinez Jr all of Mathis, TX. Also surviving her are numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A visitation will be held on Monday, March 23, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home Chapel. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 9:30 AM at Assumption Catholic Church. A mass is scheduled at 10:00 AM and interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. Fr. Josh Duplissey will officiate.
