ANDREW RAY CONTRERAS, 48, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2020, in Roswell, New Mexico. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Andrew’s family at www.andersonbethany.com. SERVICES: There will be a Viewing for Andrew at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Thursday, May 14, 2020, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. A Graveside Service will be held at South Park Cemetery on Friday, May 15, 2020, at 2:00 PM. On March 19, 1972, Andrew was born to Esther M. Contreras in Roswell, New Mexico. He was a jack of all trades. Andrew was the lifetime companion of Cristina Leon, whom he loved very much. He enjoyed working on his lowrider car, drawing and paint brushing. Andrew liked listening to music very much, especially DJing and rapping. He loved his children and enjoyed doing things with them. Andrew would play paintball games with his son, Fred. He would teach his son, Sergio, how to air Brush and help his daughter, Devina learn her cartwheels. Andrew will be truly missed by his loved ones and friends. SURVIVORS: Those left to cherish memories of Andrew are his lifetime companion, Cristina Leon; his five children: Manuel and wife Vianney Martinez, Fred and wife Emily (baby on the way), Sergio and Devina Contreras, Andrew Contreras Jr. and wife Abilene and their two children; grandchildren: Aliyah Amarie and Armazi Rey; mother, Esther Moreno who loved him dearly all the days of his life; siblings: Art Contreras, Gilbert Contreras, Joe Contreras, Priscilla Anderson; uncle, Charles Contreras; numerous aunts and cousins, nieces: Jasmine, Janessa, and Janalla Contreras; as well as his close friends: Matt Sisneros, Terry Inman, Louie Marin and many others too much to mention. PRECEDED: Andrew was preceded in death by his daughter, Andrea Contreras; sister, Maria Cruzita Robledo; stepfather, Gilbert Moreno; grandparents: Sarah Contreras and Charles Contreras; great-grandparents: Rosie Duran and Fransisco Martinez; siblings: Joe Contreras, Gilbert Contreras, Art Contreras, and Priscilla Anderson. HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Andrew’s Honorary Pallbearer will be all the Contreras family. PALLBEARERS: Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Victor Rodriguez, Matt Sisneros, Terry Inman, Louie Marin, and David Anderson. Andrew’s tribute was written with much love in his honor by his mother, friends, and family members.
