Anna Maria Gonzales (Sanchez), 59, of Roswell NM, passed away on September 27th, 2021, in Roswell. Funeral services will also be held at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Friday, October 1st, 2021, at 10;00 AM. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. On June 4th, 1962, Anna Maria Gonzales was born to Helen and Amondo (Jimmy) Gonzales in Roswell, New Mexico. She attended Roswell High School, where she graduated. Anna is married to Albert Sanchez. Prior to retirement, Anna worked as a CNA with home health care for the elderly. She was passionate about her career; she was always willing to be there to help the elderly and care for them until the end. She loved all her children, grandchildren and husband Albert more than anything in the world and she always made sure they knew it. She also loved the casinos and made sure they knew that as well. Anna Maria Gonzales will be missed by her family and friends. Survivors: Those left to eternally treasure and cherish memories of Anna Maria Gonzales are her husband, Albert Sanchez; children: Aundrea Rose Torrero and spouse Alberto Torrero, Paul Wayne Zamora Jr, Kristiianna Maria Zamora, Pricillia Gene Lopez and partner Rosalinda Rodriguez; stepdaughter, Courtney Walker and spouse Jason Walker; grandchildren: Joshua Sorg, Brian Mayes Jr, Lillie Mayes, Alhyssa Vale-Lopez, Thomas Mayes, Krystopher Torrero, Annarose Zamora & Jazmynn Aguilar; parents: Helen and Jimmy Gonzales siblings: Elaine Gonzales, Rebecca Gonzales and Phillip Gonzales; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded: Anna Maria Gonzales is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, aunt Peggy (Pud) Drummond, brother James Gonzales, niece Domonique Gonzales, one great-niece Eternity Gonzales; and her lifelong best friends: Judy and Mary. Honorary pallbearers: Blessed to be chosen as Honorary pallbearers are her grandsons Joshua Sorg, Brian Mayes Jr, Thomas Mayes and Krystopher Torrero The children of Anna Gonzales wish to extend sincere thanks to her husband, Albert Sanchez for taking exceptional care of their mother.
