Obituary for Barbara Maynor A rosary will be recited for Barbara ”Big Barb” Maynor, 41, of Roswell at 7 pm Thursday, August 16, 2007, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. A funeral mass will be celebrated for Barbara at 11 am Friday, August 17, 2007, at St. John’s with Father Juan Montoya O.F.M. officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. Barbara passed away Monday, August 13, 2007, at her home surrounded by the love of her family. Barbara was born on August 2, 1966 to David R. Lopez and Celina Sena Lopez in Fort Sumner, NM. She and Glen Maynor were married Dec, 20, 2002; Glen preceded Barbara in death. Barbara was a member of St. John’s. Her love for dogs, music, family picnics, eating junk food, partying, just hanging out, and going to Bingo will always be remembered. She had a love for life and spending time with her family. Barbara worked for TMC until the first layoff. Barbara is survived by her children, Jason Lopez and his wife, Heather, of Roswell and Ashley Dunlap of the family home; grandson, Joseph Glen Lopez; mother, Celina Lopez; sisters, Ruby Roybal and her husband, Gary, Sandra Madero and her husband, Alonso, and JoAnn Madero and her husband, Pete; brothers, David Lopez and his wife, Shona and Aurelio Lopez and his wife, Crystal, all of Roswell; special aunt, Erlinda Lopez of Fort Sumner, NM; father-in-law, Mike Maynor; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. In addition to her husband, Glen, Barbara was preceded in death by father, David Lopez; mother-in-law, Solvia Maynor, grandparents, Raymundo T. and Inez Sena, and grandmother, Maggie Lopez Lucero. Pallbearers will be Toby Roybal, Andy Gutierrez, Trevor Wright, Charllie Rodriguez, Marc Nielsen, and Chris Roybal. Honorary pallbearers will be her brothers and brothers-in-law. A special thank you to Cecil, Cindy, Chris, (with Vista Care Hospice), Karrie Flurry, and all Barbara’s friends and family.
