Bonnie Ramirez

A rosary will be recited for Bonnie Ramirez, 51, of Roswell at 7 pm Thursday, March 15, 2012 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Friday, March 16, 2012 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Father Juan Antonio Gutierrez O.F.M. officiating. Bonnie passed away on Monday, March 12, 2012 surrounded by the love of her family she will be missed by all. Visitation will be Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 8 am – 5pm. Bonnie was born March 13, 1960 to Helen Torrez in Roswell, NM. She worked at NMMI as a cook for many years then went to work for the City of Roswell as a custodian until she became ill, loved to have a good time, listening to music and was very caring and loved everyone. She loved to crochet and be on Facebook. She is survived by her mother, Helen Torrez; her two daughters, Maria Torrez and Eulalia “Lalie” Ramirez of Roswell; her sister, Leona Torrez of Roswell; her aunts, Johnnie Chavez and her husband, Guero and Sue Sigala and her husband, Rumaldo all of Roswell; special cousins, Jake and Erica, Raymond and Tammy, Alex and Jessica and many others that loved her dearly. Bonnie is preceded in death by her grandparents, Nick and Benny Torrez, her uncles, Alex Torrez, Raymond and Nick Torrez, her aunts, Telles Lara and Viola. The family wants to give “ Special Thanks ” to, the Cancer Center of Ruidoso, NM, Dr. Karimian and staff in Roswell.
