Daniel Ray Turner passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Please take a moment to share a kind thought or memory with Danny’s family at www.andersonbethany.com. There will be a Funeral Service at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Thursday, August 15, 2024. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. On June 12, 1963, Daniel Turner was born to Ray and Billie Jean Turner in Roswell, New Mexico. He attended Goddard High School, where he graduated. He married Nancy Turner on August 1, 1992, in Roswell, New Mexico. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Roswell. Prior to retirement, Danny worked as a Finance Manager for Sierra Blanca Motors. Danny enjoyed fishing, cooking, working on cars and making holidays special for his loved ones. His favorite sports team was the Tennessee Titans. Danny will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Those left to treasure and cherish Danny Turner’s memory are his wife, Nancy Turner; children: Dr. Danielle Turner and Kathleen Zeta Turner; grandchildren: Caleb Curtis, Abbi Curtis, and Zeta Garcia; great grandson, Daxton Falcon; brother, Randy Turner (wife, Debbie); sisters: Marilyn Turner and Terri Finch (husband, Gary); nieces and nephews: Casey Attar, Abby Worley, Leslie Turner, Jenny Nobles, Jimmy Hill (wife, Natalie), Chrissy Montgomery, Lacey Parker, Ana Cleveland, Angel Hall Jones (husband, Greg), Dallas Tuttle (wife, Jennifer), Damon Tuttle (wife, Andrea), Scott Montgomery (wife, Hallet); and special pets, Tooly and Bella. Danny was preceded in death by his grandmother, Jean Dunnam; parents: Ray and Billie Jean Turner; and sister, Yvette Parker. Honorary Pallbearers are Randy Turner, Mike Cleveland, Louis Stacy, and Jim McDevitt. Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Dallas Tuttle, Damon Tuttle, Scott Montgomery, and Jim Hill. The family of Daniel Turner wishes to extend sincere thanks to Dr. Philip at Mountain View Regional Hospital and his staff in Las Cruces. Also, to all the wonderful friends and family who have supported the Turner Family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society or Community Kitchen. Danny’s tribute was lovingly written by his family.
