Domingo Bejarano

A rosary will be recited for Domingo Bejarano, 71, of Hagerman at 7:00 pm Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Dexter. A funeral service will be celebrated for Domingo at 10:00 am Monday, March 22, 2010 at Immaculate Conception with Deacon Jesus Herrera officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. Domingo passed away Thursday, March 18, 2010 in Hagerman. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm to 4:00pm Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel. El funeral se llevara acabo Lunes, Marzo 22, a las 10:00am con el Deacono Jesus Herrera officiando el servicio. El entierro sera despues del servicio en South Park Cemetery. Se le gustaria venir a visitar a nuestro papa y abuelo, la familia los recibira el Domingo de las 12:00pm hasta las 4:00pm en la capilla de Anderson-Bethany. Domingo was born August 4, 1938 to Fermin Bejarano and Maria Saenz Bejarano in El Mulato, Ojinaga, Chihuahua Mexico. Domingo arrived in the Dexter area in the late 1960’s as an immigrant from Mexico. He spent most of his life working in agriculture. He was a hard working man with strong traditional values and morals. His friends were numerous due to his charismatic and loving personality. When he was not working you were sure to find him at his favorite fishing spot at Lake Van. He loved spending his day fishing and was known to put in “over time” on beautiful days with many of his fishing buddies throughout the years. He was a true family man; a dedicated husband, a loving father and a patient grandfather. Tata was always following all of Carlos’s games and practices or anything else Carlos was doing. Domingo will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Domingo is survived by one daughter, Regina Bejarano, of the family home; one step-son Mike Jimenez, of Roswell; four brothers, Alberto Bejarano of Andrews, Tx, Fermin Bejarano of Hagerman, Israel Bejarano and Jose Luis Bejarano, both of Ojinaga, Mexico; five sisters, Delia Lujan of Andrews, Tx, Bertha Jimenez of Andrews, Tx, Gloria Bejarano of Juarez, Mexico, Graciela Nunez, of Odessa, Tx, Lupe Narbaiz and her husband Chon; thirteen grandchildren, Carlos Bejarano, Mia Bejarano, Felipe Gamboa, Veronica Jimenez, Sonja Jimenez, Sammy Jimenez, Ricardo Jimenez, Anthony Jimenez, Rey Jimenez, Frankie Jimenez, Tony Jimenez, Jessica Martin and Renee Jimenez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Domingo was preceded in death by his parents, Fermin and Maria Bejarano, his loving wife Elisa Bejarano, one brother, Mateo Bejarano and two sisters, Manuela Bejarano Marquez and Sylvia Bejarano. Pallbearers will be Ceasar Lujan, Jesus Leyba, Miguel Lopez, Jesus Gomez, Pablo Bejarano and Conrado Bejarano. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren, Chon Narbaiz, Manuel Leyba, Sammy, Danny, Victor, Richard and many others who were his fishing buddies throughout the years and his compadres.
