Donna Elaine Jenkins

Donna Jenkins, age 59, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend, went to be with our Lord and Savior on May 29, 2026, following a lengthy and very courageous battle with cancer. Please take a moment to share a kind thought or memory with Donna’s family at www.andersonbethany.com. Donna was born Donna Elaine Price on September 21, 1966, to Kenneth D. Price and Viva Pauletta “Paula” Price, in Roswell, New Mexico. She spent many years in New Mexico and central Texas throughout her childhood. She eventually married and settled in West Texas where she had two beautiful children. She later divorced and returned to Roswell, New Mexico with her children. Some time after moving back to Roswell, she met the love of her life, David Jenkins. They were married on October 27, 2012, and their families were forever combined from that moment. They each considered the other’s children (and grandchildren) as their own. David was always an exceptionally loving and caring husband, but he went to extraordinary lengths during Donna’s illness—always fighting for her, taking care of her, and, most importantly, loving her. As the oldest of the kids, responsibility was forced on Donna at a very young age, but she accepted it with grace and kindness. She was an exceptionally kind and loving person. She had a light that lit every room she entered. She was the sweetest soul to ever grace this earth and had a smile that brightened the darkest of days. She spent her entire life taking care of others and making sure everyone was doing okay, up until the very end. She was so incredibly proud of her family. Her husband, their kids and grandchildren were her everything. She was always unbelievably loving to her siblings, her nieces and nephews, and her friends. You always knew where you stood with Donna and that was right beside her or in her embrace. Her faith in the Lord never wavered, no matter the obstacles put in front of her. She was a beloved member of Berrendo Baptist Church for many many years and remained as active with the church as she could. Donna is survived by her children: Amy Jo Jones (Morgan); Brian Bradshaw (Sarah); David Jenkins, Jr. (Kimberly); Alisha Jenkins; Ryan Jenkins; as well as her “bonus” children—Lacy Mendoza (Albert) and Seth Russell (Ashleigh). She is also survived by her grandchildren: Clayton Jones, Cooper Jones, Elaine Jones, Shawna Jenkins, Huston Wortman, Kasen Wortman, Jais Aragon, BrynLynn Aragon, AvaLei Aragon, Elva Chappell and Walker Chappell. She is also survived by her siblings: Jason Price (Sandy); Paula Price (Michael); Robert Price (Tish); and Carolyn Winckler (Jonathan). She is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews. Donna was preceded in death by her parents: Kenneth D. Price, Paula Stevenson and David Stevenson. Funeral services will be handled by Anderson Bethany Funeral Home. Her service will be on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., in the chapel at Anderson Bethany, followed by graveside services at South Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Seth Russell, Brian Bradshaw, Morgan Jones, David Jenkins, Jr., Israel Aragon, and Jason Price. Honorary pallbearers will be Jais Aragon and Clayton Jones. The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Chaves County Cancer Fund. The family wishes to extend their eternal gratitude and thanks to Southwest Women’s Oncology & Health in Albuquerque for their unwavering support and treatment of Donna while she battled this horrible illness.
