Enrique Garcia Sr.

Enrique Garcia Sr., 66, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2019. Enrique was born on July 8, 1952, to Catarino and Maria Leonor Garcia in El Salto Durango, Mexico. He was the beloved Husband of Gloria Garcia Gomez, with whom he shared 48 years of marriage. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Enrique was extremely family-oriented and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids, he was always willing to give a hand to anyone in need. He enjoyed cooking, music, working on his cars, most of all the outdoors. He was the owner of Henry’s Tacos Catering located here in Roswell, NM for 13 years, a dream come true. He will be greatly missed, and the memories Enrique made with his family will forever be cherished. SURVIVORS: Enrique is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Garcia his children: Guadalupe, Estela, Enrique Jr, Saul, Fernando, Veronica, Yolanda, Vanessa and Andres, grandchildren: Brandon, Dylan, Yzabella, Francisco, Roberto, Victoria, Vanessa, Enrique III, Freddy, Vivian, Ivan, Lia, Allsion, Maci, Evanie, Miley, Nirvana, Kimberly, Khloe, Benjamin and Alejandra, great-granddaughter Isabella. PRECEDED: Enrique was preceded in death by his parents Catarino & Maria Leonar Garcia, and siblings: Locaido Garcia- Diaz A Viewing will be held at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with a Rosary to follow at 6:00 PM. A Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Thursday, February 14, 2019, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. Enrique’s family will be having a reception after the services at the Mesa Salon 426-452 E 2nd St, Roswell, NM 88201 The Pallbearers are Enrique Jr Garcia, Saul Garcia, Fernando Garcia, Andres Garcia. "God saw he was getting tired, and a cure was not to be, So, He put his arms around him and whispered, "come with me." With tearful eyes, we watched him suffer and saw him fade away. Although we loved him dearly, we could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating, Hardworking hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best!"
