Ernesto Estrada

A rosary will be recited for Ernesto Estrada, 53, of Roswell at 7 pm, Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 2 pm, Thursday, August 19, 2010 also at St. Johns, with Father Juan Antonio Gutierrez O.F.M. officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. Ernesto passed away Monday, August 16, 2010 at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque. Ernesto was born January 28, 1957, to Jose R. Estrada and Modesta Madrid Estrada in Santa Cruz de Mayo, Chihuahua, Mexico. He enjoyed long country drives, listening to oldies and telling stories. He loved Lowrider Cars, Harley Davidson Motorcylces and collecting family pictures. He is survived by his parents, Jose and Modesta Estrada; three sons, Ernie Estrada and his wife Melanie, Gabriel Estrada and his wife Vanessa and Enrique Estrada and his partner Cassandra Griffen; two brothers, Humberto Estrada and his wife Valerie, Joe Estrada and his wife Stephanie; three sisters, Gloria Diosado and her husband Martin, Christina Aguirre and her husband Martin, Carolina Moreno and her husband Arturo; five granddaughters, Cameron, Paige, Danielle, Viviana and Gabriella Estrada; his nieces, Juliette Herrera, Tiese Estrada, Cynthia Sandoval, AngieEstrada, Debbie and Denise Martinez, Jessica Aguirre and Michelle Ramos; his nephews, Danny and Aaron Guerra, Jerry Aguirre, Ray and Joseph Estrada; his godchildren, Joseph Estrada, , Danielle Scrapa, Jessi Trujillo, Jenasy Miranda, Ernesto Montoya and numerous great nieces and nephews. Ernesto was preceded in death by his birth twin, Enrique Estrada, his Godchild, Alberto (BJ) Contreras, Juan Vargas and Isabel Christina Estrada. Pallbearers will be all of his nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be all of his nieces and godchildren.
