On Saturday, December 28, 2019, ERNESTO “NETO” MUÑOZ, 71, passed away in Roswell, New Mexico. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Ernesto’s family at www.andersonbethany.com. Services will be held at Assumption Catholic Church, on Friday, January 10, 2020,10:00 AM. Ernesto was born on February 18, 1948, to Modesto Muñoz and Anita Menchaca, in Midland, Texas, now both deceased. A high school graduate, Neto continued his education and received a Bachelor of Science Degree. In 1992, he married Pamela K. Muñoz in Roswell, New Mexico. Together they had three wonderful children whom they adored. Neto was a retired Maintenance worker. His favorite pastimes were traveling the open road, hitchhiking, spending time with family, listening to oldies, and drinking tequila. He enjoyed woodwork, OCD cleaning, working in the yard, collecting Indian stuff and knives, and unbeknownst to most of us, he was a bull rider. Neto loved football, the Colts first, then the Rams, and now the Cowboys only because he was forced into it. He was the kindest, loving, and caring man who would move mountains to help anyone. Neto was a great father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be profoundly missed by his loved ones. SURVIVORS: Neto is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Muñoz; children: Kaine Muñoz, Wesley Muñoz, Benjamin Muñoz, Jerry Muñoz, Gina Muñoz, Frankie Ledesma, Tina Ledesma, Ernie Ledesma; grandchildren: Jada-Lee Muñoz, Amelia Muñoz, Zella Muñoz, Wesley Muñoz II; siblings: Isabel Ramirez, Manuel Muñoz, Eloisa Vargas, Silvia Macias, Eulalio Muñoz; along with nieces and nephews: Marrian, Sammy, Johnny, Cruz, Jerry, Gilbert, Tommy, Lorrie, Lupe, Lisa, Mandi, Joe, Mikey, Elsa, Chris, Angel, Robert, Jeremy, Gilbert, Maggie, Cindy, Ashley, Marrybell, Tina, and Shiane. PRECEDED: Preceding Neto in death are his parents, Modesto Muñoz and Anita Menchaca; grandparents: Agustin and Martina Muñoz, and Terresa and Emelio Menchaca; siblings: Moe Muñoz, Mike Vargas, Sammy Muñoz, Anastasia Muñoz, and David Muñoz; along with his loving pet, Muggsy. The family would like to extend a special “Thanks” to a caring, helpful, and loving daughter-in-law, Jennilee Muñoz, “we could not have done this without you.”
