Eudelia Linares

A rosary will be recited for Eudelia Navarette Linares, 93, of Roswell, Thursday, July 28, 2011, 7:00 pm, Anderson Bethany Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, July 29, 2011, 10:00 am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Roswell with Father Juan Antonio Gutierrez OFM officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. She passed away July 24, 2011 at home in Roswell. She was born Eudelia Navarette March 13, 1918 in Pecos, Texas to Juan Navarette and Faustina Mendoza Navarette. She was Catholic in faith, and attended services at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. She was a volunteer at the Joy Senior Citizen Center for ten years, then worked as a senior companion for ten more years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all her family and close friends. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children Luis Linares of San Diego, CA, Jesse Linares of Phoenix, AZ, Julian Linares of Phoenix, AZ, Juan Linares of Salt Lake City, UT, Manuel Linares of Roswell, NM, Lee Roy Linares of Phoenix, AZ, Ramon Linares of Roswell, NM, Ruben Linares of Baytown, TX, Delia Schulte of Questa, NM, and Dorothy Gonzales of Roswell, NM, brothers Alfredo Navarette of Lubbock, TX, sister Lena Macias of Lubbock, TX, forty-six grandchildren, one hundred thirty-seven great grandchildren, and ninety-seven great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jesus Linares,sons Felipe Linares, Pedro Linares, and Joe Linares, and daughter Tomasa Matta. Pallbearers will be Richard Cardona, Eric Gonzales, Julian Cardona, Jerry Matta, Ronnie Schulte, and Timothy Schulte. Honorary pallbearers will be Estrella Linares, Alyssa Linares, and Melodi Gonzales. Donations may be made to Roswell Humane Society, 703 E McGaffey, Roswell, NM 88203, in memory of Eudelia Linares and her beloved pet Bingo. The family would like to thank Dr. Evan Nelson, the nurses with Encompass Care, Vista Care, and Courtney Barnett for their loving care of our precious mother. Thanks also to everyone for their support in our time of need.
