Eugenio 'Gino' Juarez

Loving brother, uncle, son and friend, Eugenio passed away on Monday, May 22, 2017, in Roswell, NM. Viewing will be on Saturday, May 27, 2017, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Sunday, May 28, 2017, 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A Memorial Service will be held at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. On October 28, 1966, Eugenio was born to Asenzion Ortiz and Agustina Najera in Zaragoza, Chihuahua, México. Eugenio was known as Gino by family and friends. Gino worked at Sam’s Club and liked his job very much. The 49ers were his favorite football team. He enjoyed parties and was always the life of the party. Perhaps more than anything, Gino loved spending time with family and friends. Having a loving and generous heart, he was one who was always there to help others when needed. Gino had a beautiful smile and warm personality that made others smile. Those left to cherish Eugenio’s memory are his loving mother, Agustina Najera; stepfather, Miguel Najera; sisters: Maria Elena Ortiz, Maribel Urquides, Linda Ortiz (Robert Herrera), Sandra Ortiz, Debbie Ortiz (Andres Cano); grandmother, Margarita Juarez; and numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces, that will always love and cherish the memories he has left behind. Eugenio was preceded in death by his father, Asencion Ortiz; grandfather, Antonio Juarez; brother, Asencion ‘Chonito’ Ortiz. Although Gino is no longer with us, his memory will live on with his family and all the friends left behind.
