Eva Marie Guebara

Eva Marie Guebara, 54, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, in Roswell, New Mexico. A Visitation will be held at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home and Crematory on Monday, August 17, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM with a Rosary to begin at 6:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at 10:00 AM. On April 7, 1972, Eva Marie Guebara was born to Lupe and Alex Guebara in Roswell, New Mexico. Eva lived life with a bright, joyful energy that made every room feel lighter the moment she walked in. She loved watching wrestling, singing, dancing, and laughing. Eva was always ready with a joke and was always the life of the party. She found comfort in simple moments, especially watching rainy weather roll in, and she cherished every chance to be surrounded by family, most especially her mom, Lupe. Her heart was happiest when she was with the people she loved. A proud Miami Dolphins fan, Eva cheered with passion and never missed a chance to show her team spirit. She had a gift for bringing people together, lifting spirits, and making ordinary days feel special. Eva’s memory will live on in every laugh shared, every song sung, and every moment of joy she inspired. Her love, her humor, and her vibrant presence will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Those left to honor and cherish the memories of Eva are her husband, Mateo Hernandez; children: Michael Guebara Sr and wife Destinnie Guebara, Angelo Josh Guebara and wife Andrea Guebara; grandchildren: Michael Jay Guebara Jr, Aaliyah Jade Guebara, Mathayus A. Guebara, Joseph Michael Guebara, Angelo Josh Tavizon-Guebara, Anea Carolina Tavizon-Gubara; mother, Lupe Guebara; brother, Alex Guebara Jr, Denise Guebara; tia’s: Angie Hernandez and Cruz Romero; nieces and nephews: Alex Guebara III, Erica Guebara, Rudy Guebara, Marrisa Garces, Joshua De la Rosa, Manual De la Rosa, Chris Molina, Desiree Marin; and to many friends to count. She will be miss greatly. Eva is preceded in death by granddaughter, Adrulina Jullyet Tavizon Guebara; father, Alex Guebara Sr; grandparents: Florentino Samario and Consuelo Samario; brother, Joseph Guebara. Blessed to be chosen as an honorary pallbearer is Michael Jay Guebara Jr. Those honored to be chosen as a pallbearer are Michael Guebara Sr, Angelo Guebara, Alex Guebara Jr, Alex Guebara III, Rudy Guebara, and Matt Hernandez. Eva’s tribute was lovingly written by her family.
