Fran Henson Silva, 63, passed away on June 3, 2026, in Roswell, NM. Services: There will be a Visitation at Anderson Bethany, on Tuesday, June 16th, from 11:00 until 2:00 which at that time there will be a service in Fran’s honor. On February 4, 1963, in Roswell, NM, Fran was born to Raymond and Geraldine Henson. Fran attended school at the Hagerman Municipal Schools from which she graduated. Fran was a special angel from birth, as she was born with special needs. Fran made a profound impact on so many of those who shared her life. Her unique qualities were many, and she loved deeply. She was not just a sister, but she was a rare gift. She was a reminder of the beauty and value of every person, regardless of their ability. Despite the many challenges she faced, she carried herself with peaceful dignity and unwavering courage. Her strength was not loud, but it was steady and inspiring. Fran’s laughter could brighten even the gloomiest days, and her presence alone brought comfort to those who were around her. She was devoted to her loved ones, offering support, understanding, and unconditional love to the best of her ability. Her loyalty and care were a constant source of strength for her family and to her extended family which started at the Door of Opportunity, moving onto High Desert and her final home, Aspire. Fran’s life leaves us with a legacy of love and inspiration like no other. She touched the lives of so many, leaving behind kindness, empathy, and hope. Her example of how she cherished life should continue to inspire those who knew her, for it is us who will carry on her legacy as we continue our journey. Life does not end in death. Although she is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in the memories we shared and the love she gave so freely. She will always be a part of who we are. Her presence was a steady light in the lives of those around her, offering comfort, wisdom, and a reminder of the goodness in the world. Let it bring comfort to your hearts that there is still goodness in this world, for it is the goodness in your loving hearts that helped this very special person become the Angel that left us to cherish her memory. Fran touched so many hearts in so many ways, and her life remains “alive” in our hearts. The Henson Family Fran met the love of her life while she was at the Door of Opportunity. She married Larry Silva on June 9, 1991. This was not your typical marriage between a man and a woman. Sylvia Fuentes was very instrumental in making this wedding a reality. Fran and Larry shared 21 years of happiness together. To Larry, Fran was his “wife” and his “angel” from the start. Larry loved Fran like no other, and he was not afraid to let everyone know how he much he loved her. Larry was called home to be with the Lord on February 11, 2012. Fran was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Geraldine Henson. Her brothers, Rayford Henson, Bobby Henson, and Victor Henson all of Hagerman, NM. Left to cherish her memory is her brother Billy Henson of Hagerman, NM wife Cindy. Sister-in-law Sheryl Henson of Hagerman, NM. Nephews, Josh Henson of Hagerman, NM, Billy Ray Henson of Hagerman, NM, wife Naomi, Joseph Brown, Roswell, NM wife Jacque, Wesley Munoz, Roswell, NM wife Jenilee, Rayford Scott Henson of Hagerman, wife Mattie, Robert Henson of Tennessee, wife Rebecca and Jerame Henson of Pennsylvania, wife Sonia. Nieces, Jacque Brown of Roswell, NM, husband Joseph Brown and Jenilee Munoz of Roswell, NM, husband Wesley Munoz, Jennifer Villeneuve of Texas, husband Chad. Fran also had many great nephews, great nieces, great-great nephews, and great-great nieces who reside in the valley. To serve as an honorary pallbearer, her nephews, Josh Henson and son Johnny Henson, Billy Ray Henson, Joseph Brown, Patrick Jurado, Wesley Munoz and Lil Wes, Scott Henson and sons Tyler Henson, Payton Henson, Colten Henson, Robert Henson and Jerame Henson. The family of our beloved Fran wishes to extend their sincere appreciation for the care that has been given to Fran throughout the years from the Door of Opportunity, High Desert and Aspire.
