Francisco "Frank" Alejandro Moya Jr.

A long-time resident of Roswell, FRANCISCO ALEJANDRO MOYA, JR, also known as “FRANK,” to most, 76, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2019, in Roswell, New Mexico. SERVICES: A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019, 11:00 AM, at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home Chapel. On February 26, 1943, Frank was born to Francisco, Sr. and Manuelita Moya in Alamogordo, New Mexico. He married his soul mate and partner for life, Connie Moya, on June 29, 1963, in Stockton, California. As a result of their happy union, they had four beautiful daughters. Frank was extremely family oriented and loved his family very much. He developed a few nicknames later in life. One was “Viper,” and he was recently affectionately known as “Punkin.” Frank was a friendly man with a huge heart. Prior to retirement, he worked as an insurance salesman. He loved watching any sports on TV, but his favorite ones were the Dallas Cowboys, the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Frank enjoyed attending Roswell Coyote girl’s and boys’ basketball games, camping, fishing, and woodworking. He was very proud to have coached the girl’s youth softball league for five years. Frank will be greatly missed by his loved ones and those fortunate enough to have known him. SURVIVORS: Frank leaves behind a legacy of love and strength in wife of fifty-six years, Connie Moya; four loving daughters: Monica and spouse Carroll Ragland, Deborah and spouse Annette Martinez, Denise and spouse Theresa Pele, Kat and spouse Conrad Page; grandchildren: Tyler Moya, Leyla Moya; great-grandchild, Chloe Moya; special people: Christian Rullan, Michelle Aragon; nieces and nephews: Michael Moya, Steven Moya, Stephanie Walley, and numerous nieces & nephews; close friends: Joe Montoya, Lee Reed, Tony Garcia, 31 club members, and the entire NM Express Fantasy Football League. PRECEDED: Preceding Frank in death: his parents, Francisco “Frank” Moya, Sr. and Manuelita “Nela” Moya; and brother, Manuel Moya. Frank’s family would like to send a special “Thank You” to Fresenius Dialysis Center nurses and technicians.
