Freddie Jefferson Allen, 53, of Roswell, NM, passed away on March 24, 2024, in Roswell, NM. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Freddie’s family at www.andersonbethany.com. Funeral service is pending. Freddie Jefferson Allen was born in Chaves County to Howard and Joyce Allen on April 13, 1970. He graduated with honors at Goddard High School. While in high school Freddie played track, basketball, and football. He worked at Next Level, Leprino, TMC, and Rent A Center in Colorado. He loved being outdoors, such as fishing and cooking. He enjoyed being around family and friends. Freddie J. Allen is survived by his kids, Kanisha Zamora, Steven Zamora, Jayla Allen, Deaja Allen, Freddie Allen Jr, DeAndre Smith, Keydrick, Vertell-Johnson, Jahnell Guajardo, Malachi Balton, Kaeloni Vaughn, and Virginia Calvert. Freddie J. Allen had numerous grandchildren; sisters: Lil, Alice Basinger Hicks and husband Joe, Betty Giles and husband James, Emma Robinson, Pearline House and husband Robert, Darlene Stewart and husband Mark, brothers: David Allen, Johnny Allen and wife Roberta, Lamer Allen; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins. Preceding Freddie in death: his parents Howard and Joyce Allen; grandparents: James and Genolia Smith and Lela Jones; brothers: Howard Earl Allen, Jr, and Booker T. Allen; sisters, Alice Basinger Hicks, Gloria Mayo; nephew: Leon LeRon Allen. Pallbearers: Jez Allen, Steven Zamora, Ray Smith, Issiah Allen, David Allen Jr, James Edwards, Freddie Allen Jr., Thomas Davis. Blessed to be chosen as honorary pallbearer are as follows Johnny Allen, David Allen, Gonzalo Bonilla, and Marcello “Chils” Jimenez. A special thank you to Anderson Bethany with the services that we received and that we would happily recommend the funeral home to other family members and friends when the need arises. When life ends unexpectedly The pain is too great to bear, No chance to say a last goodbye Unable to prepare. The bravest thing that we can do Is try to understand That even though it's very hard For something that wasn't planned We cannot change what's come to pass We only can move on. Our loved one would have wanted that Be strong and face the dawn. He'll always live within our hearts Forever by our side. Take comfort in his memory Where always he'll abide. And as we move on with our lives Now knowing what we know. Tomorrow isn't promised to us So love we've got to show. It's all that really matters It's the only thing at stake When we end our earthly journey The love we share, we take... Let this be a reminder to us that unexpected loss is hard but it's a part of life. We should let it serve as a reminder that when we have the opportunity to tell someone how much We care about them we should.
