On May 1, 1954, Gerald “Jerry” Lynn Scott was born to Jeannie Brammer, in Toledo, Ohio. Jerry lived a life defined by curiosity, creativity, and a deep love for those around him. A self‑taught artist, landscaper, mechanic, and handyman, he had a gift for working with his hands and an eye for bringing beauty and order to the world. He enjoyed fishing, camping, playing pool, and the occasional trip to the casino, where he found joy in the thrill and the company. More than anything, Jerry loved being with his family and friends. His presence brought warmth, laughter, and a sense of ease to every gathering. He will be remembered for his generous spirit, his resourcefulness, and the way he made people feel at home simply by being himself. Jerry’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Those left to eternally cherish and treasure Jerry’s Memory are his partner, Wendy Scott of Roswell, NM; son, Gene Scott (Britney) of Missouri; grandchildren: Jonah, Apollo, and Gabriel of Missouri; siblings: Sherry Ann Scott of Roswell, Lisa Montoya (Mikey) of Portales, Eydie Lanz (Todd) of Connecticut, Clint Scott (Janine) of California, Christina Ralston (Tommy) of Connecticut; a host of beloved aunts, uncles nieces, nephews, and friends; and his beloved animals: two cockatiels, two parakeets, one parrot, one cat, and a Chihuahua. Jerry will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his child, Shawn Scott of Grand Junction, Colorado; parents: Jeannie and William Brammer of Portales, Lewis Scott of Alabama; maternal grandparents: Santiago and Elizabeth Hernandez; paternal grandparents: Clint and Dera Scott; siblings: Robert E.
