Obituary for Isabel Bolanos A rosary will be recited for Isabel Bolanos, 64, of Roswell at 7 pm Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. A funeral mass will be celebrated for Isabel at St. John’s at 10 am Friday, Dec. 29, 2006, with Father Juan Montoya O.F.M. officiating. Isabel passed away Thursday, Dec. 21, 2006 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX. Isabel was born on Nov. 4, 1942 to Antonio Madrid and Anita Subia in Persidio, TX. She and Jose Luis Bolanos were married March 13, 1968 in Portales. Isabel was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Isabel is survived by her husband, Jose Luis Bolanos, of Los Reyes Michoacan Mexico; sons, Cuahutemoc Bolanos, Leonel Bolanos and his wife, Sandra, Jesse Bolanos, all of Roswell, Robert Bolanos of Albuquerque, Ruben Bolanos Jr. and his wife, Jennifer, Arturo Bolanos and his companion, Ashley Swanson, Alfredo Bolanos of Portales and Joe Bolanos and his wife, Angela, of Roswell; daughters, Susan Cary and her husband, Gabriel, of San Antonio, TX, Melissa Bolanos of Roswell, Katherine Bolanos of San Antonio, TX, Alexandra Bolanos of Arkansas, Heidi Bolanos of Ruidoso, NM, Lizette Bolanos of Roswell, Violet and Grace Bolanos of Albuquerque, and Sonia Bolanos of Odessa, TX; eight grandchildren, Ashley Atkins, Victor and Haley Bolanos, Amberly, Amanda, and Eric Bolanos, Marlena Cary, and Jaqueline Aguilar; three sisters, Josie Bolanos and her husband, Ruben, of Midway, Toni Madrid and companion, Juan Saenz, of Roswell, Santos Gutierrez and husband, Ismael, of Kansas City, KS; close nephew, Nehemiah Orosco of Roswell; close nieces, Monica Orosco and husband, Gabriel, and Micaela Patino of Roswell; numerous other loved ones and family from Las Cruces and Kansas City; and a host of friends . Isabel was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Madrid, parents, Antonio and Anita Madrid, two brothers, Pedro and Guadalupe Madrid, and a sister, Juliana Avalos.
