Jered A. Leatherman

Jered Alan Leatherman, 40, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. Please take a moment to share a kind thought or memory with Jered’s family at www.andersonbethany.com. There will be a Viewing at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home and Crematory on May 18, 2024, from 12 pm to 3 pm. There will be a gathering to commence a Celebration of Life that will occur at John Leatherman's house. On October 23, 1983, Jered was born to John Leatherman and Dina Marshall. He attended Roswell High School where he graduated with honors. After school Jered started roofing with his father’s roofing company, Do Right Roofing. While talented in this trade, Jered also became an advanced tree trimmer within the past decade. Jered had his first child in 2016 then later blessed the family with a set of twins in the year 2019. His youngest born joined our family in 2022. Aside from extending his love to his family and friends, Jered also had a niche for playing guitar beautifully, as well as playing violin in his high school orchestra. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and watching the Denver Broncos. Jered possessed a heart of gold and a smile that could enhance anyone's day. Jered was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jon Marshall; grandmother, Peggy Leatherman; great-grandmothers: Genn and GG; grandfathers: Jim Leatherman, Richard Johnson, and Richard Gotcher; uncle, Tim Leatherman; aunts: Debbie Loudat and Kathryn Gotcher; brother, Matthew VanNote; brother-in-law, Christian Tyler; friends and coworkers: Jeremy Deason and Josh McClain, Eddie Chapin; and our other family and friends. Survivors include best friend and companion, Ursula Haley, as well as Tiffany Martin; children: Haven Haley, 7, twins Mason and Grayson, 4, and Ryker Leatherman, 2; father, John Leatherman and his spouse Kimberely Golightly; mothers: Dina Marshall, Niki Leatherman, and Donna Billington; two grandmothers: Nancey Johnson and Shirley Caple; siblings: Stephanie Tyler-Guerin, Ashley McAdams, Brittany Arellano, Shannon Tyler, and Seth VanNote; dear friends: Manny Trujillo and Steven Boykin; aunt, Heidi Hicks; uncles: Johnny Hicks and Kim Leatherman; cousins: Jennifer, Jacqueline, and Richard Hicks; 6 nieces: Elizabeth, Nevaeh, Natalie, Emily, Bailey and Harley; 6 nephews: Christian Jr, Jude, and Matthew "Blaze" VanNote, Manny Jr., Jacob and Jeremiah; his many friends: Christina Trujillo, Rachael Silva-Collins, Ruppert Guzman, Alfonso Dela Cruz, Aaron Stringer, Oscar Martinez and countless others.
