Joe Bolaños

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Joe Bolaños announces his passing, on Sunday, September 2, 2018, at the age of 51 years. Joe was born on July 30, 1967, in Los Reyes, Michoacán, Mexico, and his parents were: Cleto and Teresa Bolaños and Ruben Sr. and Josie Bolaños. Joe will be lovingly remembered by his wife of thirty years, Angela; son, Derek and wife, Michelle; daughter, Angelea; and son, David. Joe will also be fondly remembered by his three grandchildren: Isaiah, Christiana, and Christian; brothers: Ruben, Antonio, Alex, Arturo, Cuahutemoc, and Miguel; sisters: Delfina, Sonia, Sandra, and Antonia. Joe will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. Preceding Joe in death were his mother, Teresa Bolaños; and sister, Chole Bolaños. When most people think of Joe, they think of the hardest-working, God-fearing man they know. He was a loving husband, father, grandpa, brother, and friend. One of Joe’s greatest joys in life was his family, and he worked tirelessly to provide for them. His persistence and hard work enabled him to transform his career as a local plumber to the co-owner of Alpha Plumbing, which was his dream. Joe had a servant’s heart, never expecting anything in return, and he loved to tell others about the wondrous love of Jesus. He was a faithful member of Roswell Baptist Temple, led by Pastor Bill Whitehead, for twenty-five years. There will be a Viewing at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Thursday, September 6, 2018, from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. A Funeral Service in memory of Joe will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018, 10:00 AM, at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Bill Whitehead will be officiating. Interment to follow at South Park Cemetery. Those chosen as Pallbearers will be: his two sons, Derek and David; Luis Lara, David Lebeda, Chris Meadows, Antonio Bolaños and Ruben Bolaños.
