On July 31, 1977, Johnny was born in El Paso, Texas, to Betty and Johnny Joe Dutchover II. From the very beginning, he carried a big heart and an unmistakable spirit. He loved his children and grandchildren deeply, cherishing every moment spent with family and friends. Known for his strength and playful nature, Johnny enjoyed arm wrestling, playing horseshoes, and filling every gathering with laughter. A jokester at heart and always straightforward, he had a rare authenticity that made him truly one of a kind. His presence lit up every room, and his memory will continue to do the same in the hearts of all who loved him. Those left to cherish and honor his memory are his children: Johnny Dutchover IV, Danny Dutchover, Joe Dutchover, Marissa Dutchover, and Annalisia Dutchover; grandchildren: Azmariah Renteria, Ata’laya Dutchover, Izalayah Renteria, Armando Renteria Jr, Clementina Dutchover, Betty Dutchover, Violette Dutchover, and Zor’a Dutchover; siblings: Jennifer Dutchover, Wesley Dutchover, and Stacy Dutchover; numerous aunts and uncles; nephews: Diego Martinez and Justin Martinez, Brianna Smolky, Jason Smolky Jr, Wesley Dutchover Jr, and Elloit Dutchover. Johnny is preceded in death by his grandchild, Gabriella Renteria; parents: Betty and Johnny Joe Dutchover II; grandparents: Granfe and Amalia Aragon; great-grandparents: Johnny and Charlotte Dutchover; his favorite aunt and uncle: Rita and Kix Torrez. A visitation for Johnny will be held at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, May 18, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with a Rosary to be held at 6:00 PM. A funeral Service will be held at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at South Park Cemetery. After the services, the family invites everyone to gather for a meal at the Ponda Rosa, located at 1608 E. Poe St. in Roswell, New Mexico, 88203. Johnny’s tribute was lovingly written by his family.
