It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Judith Gay Ford, who departed this life peacefully on July 17, 2024. Born on December 2, 1939, to Gordon and Virginia Erickson, Judith's journey on this earth was marked by love, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to her family. Judith was united in marriage to Gary Ford on May 13, 1967, a partnership that became the cornerstone of her life's joy and fulfillment. Their enduring love and mutual respect were evident to all who knew them, serving as an inspiring example of devotion and partnership. Judith's presence lit up every room she entered, and her kindness knew no bounds. She dedicated her life to nurturing those around her, always providing a warm heart and a listening ear. Her remarkable ability to make people feel valued and loved will be profoundly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She is survived by her four children: Gay Torres and husband Joe, Lennie Ford and wife Maria, Cathy Carrasco and husband Joe, and Vicki Odgers and late husband Gary. Cherished grandmother to Jennifer Gorham and husband John, Amanda Long and husband Matt, Brandon Torres, Derrick Evans and wife Cristina, Samantha Lillehoff and husband Tim, Michael Doctor and fiancé Jessica, Sarah Heath and husband Jerid, and Krystal Lopez. Beloved great-grandmother to Josh Gorham, Xavier Torres, Braeden Paz and fiancé Kennedy, Trinity Torres, Bryce Paz, Charlotte Evans, Jesse Doctor, Kellan Heath, Xavier Doctor, Aria Long, Elizabeth Evans, Damien Doctor, Ariel Heath, and Simon Lillehoff. She also leaves behind beloved fur children: Maudie and Phoenix. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Ford; parents: Gordon and Virginia Erikson; and siblings: Gordon Jr, Stanley, and Douglas. While our hearts are heavy with her absence, we are grateful for the indelible memories and the lasting impact of her generous spirit. A celebration of Judith's life will be held at Highland Baptist Church on Monday July 29th at 11 a.m., where friends and family will gather to pay their respects and share in the joy of having known such a wonderful woman. Donations can be made in her name to the Paralyzed Veterans of America.
