Obituary for Laura Gloria Leaton Green A rosary will be recited for Laura Green, 49, of Roswell at 7:00 p.m. Monday, October 4, 2010 in the Chapel at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 5, 2010, 10:00 a.m. at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. Laura passed away Thursday, September 30, 2010 surrounded by the love and support of her family and friends. Viewing will be held at Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home starting Sunday, October 3, 2010 at 12 noon. Laura was born January 22, 1961 in Roswell, New Mexico to Ignacio J. Leaton, and Corina Maria Aragon Leaton. Ray and Laura were married January 22, 1985, in Roswell, NM; he survives her at the family home. Laura was a member of Galilee Baptist Church. She loved to cook and play all kinds of games, especially Keno and cards. She had a great love for her children and her grandchildren. In addition to her husband Ray, Laura is survived by her daughters Michelle Robertson and her husband Roy of Smithville, Virginia and Ashlee Green of Roswell; two grandchildren, Zephaniah and Hannah Robertson of Virginia; father, Ignacio J. Leaton; two brothers Michael Leaton and Alex Leaton; three sisters Diane Greer, Teresa Chavez and her husband George, and Cecelia Leaton; her dog Sadie and numerous friends, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Laura was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Annie Molina Leaton and Ignacio Leaton Sr., maternal grandparents, Jose Granfe and Amalia Aragon, her mother Cora Leaton, her brother Ruben Leaton, her in-laws Christine and Walter Green and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Pallbearers will be Mike and Alex Leaton, Joe Aragon, Jr., Jamie Rullon, Tessa Franco, Cynthia Lopez and Cinthia Baray. Honorary pallbearers will be Adrian Lopez, Andres Smith and James Smith, Jr. Thank you to Vista Care Hospice and a special Thank you to Francis.
