Ludivina Rodriguez (Memo) August 31, 1934-January 28, 2024 Our beloved Ludivina Rodriguez passed away January 28th, 2024. She was preceded in death by her son Cesar Rodriguez, her parents, her siblings Amparo Luna, Socorro Gomez, Manuela Matta, Ageda Baeza, Angela Bustamante, Matias Saenz, Salvador Saenz, and Abel Saenz. She is survived by her deeply loving Husband of 67 years, Fernando Rodriguez. Their children Leticia Kuykendall and Fernando Rodriguez Jr. Her grandchildren Kandee Hymer (Bob Hymer), Tamara Kuykendall (Westley McArdle), Krista Hernandez (Justin Hernandez), Robert Mason, Josh Dominguez (Nadine Dominguez), Eric Sanchez (Brandy Knight). Her Great Grandkids Destynie Hymer, Zoi Hymer, Kassidy Hymer, Clayton McArdle, Emilee McArdle, Gia McArdle, Taber Thomas, Kayd Kuykendall, Lucy Castillo, Gage Kuykendall, Lylah Hernandez, Kai Hernandez, Kamryn Dominguez, Skyler Mason, Nikolai Mason, Alec Knight, Audi Sanchez, Penelope Sanchez, and Eric (Jr.) Sanchez. She has one living sister, Ana Stewart, and many friends who she grew to love and consider as family. Ludivina was widely known for her generous soul and her warm cooked food. Her grandkids often bragged, “Memo’s burritos are different, they are the best.” She never let anyone leave her house without a happy and filled stomach, and her friends and family will miss her homemade “Asaderos.” She bared the greenest of thumbs. Her yard was always sprouting in vibrant colors where she had planted and nourished beautiful flowers into life. They sometimes would be planted so sporadically that you had to watch your step while walking through the yard. You could often find her bent over taking turns talking and singing with her birds. Ludi’s sense of humor was one of her most attractive features. She possessed the natural ability to turn awkward situations into giggles and hard laughs. She put life and love into everything she encountered. You were in good hands if you were in her hands. Her last years were difficult for her, but she was so blessed to have her daughter, son, and husband in her corner attempting to care for her the way she had cared for everyone else up until then. Ludivina’s graveside services will be February 3rd, 2024, at the Hagerman Cemetery at 10:00 AM.
