Mandy Miranda and Joe Albarez

A rosary will be recited for Mandy Yvonne Miranda, 30, and Joe Albarez III, 5, of Roswell at 7 pm Friday, August 10, 2012 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 10 am Saturday, August 11, 2012 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with Father Charlie Martinez officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Arthur Cemetery. They passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2012. Mandy Yvonne Miranda was born March 25, 1982 to Manuel and Barbara (Romero) Miranda in Roswell, NM. She was a high school graduate, attended ENMUR studied medical assistance, baptized, first holy communion and confirmation at St. Peter’s Catholic Church and enjoyed Bible study. Mandy Yvonne Miranda better known as Lulu Bird to us and to our grandparents Angel was a loving mother of two Mariah and Joe Albarez III. She loved with all her heart her nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She worked as a medical assistant at BCA Medical Associates and was interested in going to Beauty School to color hair. She loved all her friends and many friends she had. She enjoyed hanging out with her family and friends, dancing, singing, excercising and loved taking many photos of herself, kids, family and friends. Mandy’s passion was expressing herself artistically and enjoyed writing poems. She will be greatly missed and always loved. Those left to cherish her memory are Joe Albarez II and their daughter Mariah, her parents, Manuel and Barbara Miranda, her sisters, Monica and her husband, Matthew Little, Melissa and her husband, Johnny Sambrano, her brother, Manuel Jr. and his wife, Rosa, six nieces and three nephews, many cousins, aunts and uncles, her grandmother, Elia Serna and her grandfather, Manuel Griego. Preceded in death are her grandparents, George and Celia Romero, Max and Josephine Miranda, great-grandparents on both sides aunts and uncles. Joe Albarez III was born October 10, 2006 to Joe Albarez II and Mandy Yvonne Miranda in Roswell, NM. Joe adored his father, Joe Albarez II, his mother, Mandy Miranda, his sister, Mariah Albarez. Joe enjoyed playing with his cousins and was very close with his sister Mariah. Joe attended Tadpoles Daycare and enjoyed playing with his friends he was very smart, energetic, handsome, bright and full of life. He also was very excited and looking forward to starting school. Joe loved watching T.V., playing video games and riding his bike. Joe will be greatly missed and always loved. Those left to cherish his memory are his father, Joe Albarez II, his sister, Mariah Albarez, his paternal grandparents, Joe S. Albarez, and Tina Lujan all of Roswell, his maternal grandparents, Manuel and Barbara Miranda of Roswell, his aunt and uncle, Don and Alice Draeger of Roswell; his aunt and cousin, Angela and Jeremiah Albarez of Los Angeles, CA and his uncle and aunt, Michael and JoAnna Federico of Las Vegas, NV.; his uncles, Jesus Albarez and Coy Hopper of Roswell; his great-grandmother, Maria Lujan and a very special uncle, Marty Lujan Jr. of Roswell; his aunt, Monica and her husband, Matthew Little, his aunt, Melissa and her husband, Johnny Sambrano, his uncle, Manuel Jr. and his wife, Rosa, all of Roswell. Preceded in death are his aunt, Pat Albarez-Douglas and his great-grandfather, Martin O. Lujan. Pallbearers will be Monica and Matthew Little, Melissa and Johnny Sambrano, Manuel and Rosa Miranda. Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Romero, Georgia Romero, Christopher Bonham, Daniel Romero Jr., JoAnn Romero, Thomas Martinez, Tommy Miranda, Andy Albarez, Billy Albarez, Ray Albarez , Don Draeger, Marty Lujan Jr., Christopher Lujan, Joseph Vallejos, Eddie Vallejos, Daniel Rojo Casillas, Paul Archuleta Jr., and Isaac Archuleta. A Picture Of You I only have a picture now, A frozen piece of time, To remind me of how it was, When you were here, and mine. I see your smiling eyes, Each morning when I wake, I talk to you, and place a kiss, Upon your lovely face.
