Marcy Ignacia Villa

With deep sadness, our family must say goodbye to our baby sister, Marcy Ignacia Villa, 42 years young. Heaven gained an angel on October 25, 2021, and she was reunited with her parents. Marcy was born on July 31, 1979, in Roswell, New Mexico, to Remedios C. Villa and Virginia Ramirez Villa. She graduated from Roswell High School in 1998 and went on to become a certified nursing assistant from Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell. Marcy worked for Casa Maria Health Care Center for approximately 13 years and continued working in health care with Community Home Care until 2019, that’s when her real job started. She became the Villa household babysitter. Our kids love “Tia Marcy” even though she always said she didn’t want to keep them, and she called looking for them even on her days off. Marcy had a beautiful soul. Her smile was as big as her heart. There were no strangers, everyone she met was a friend. It did not matter where you came from or what you had. Marcy always opened her heart and her home. Friends became family. Left behind to cherish Marcy’s memory are her beloved son Elias Villa; sister, and confidant, Grace Villa; brother, Mark Villa and wife Claudia; sisters: Maria (Hita) Villa and husband Oscar Torres, and Alice Moreno and husband Joaquin; numerous nieces and nephews, all who hold a special place in her heart. “Elias, I was and imperfect person, so it stands to reason that I wasn’t a perfect mother but know that I loved you with all my heart. It was hard for me to show it sometimes, but “you” were the most important person in my life. I do not know who you will become but just know I will be with you in spirit every step of the way. I’m sorry mijo. I didn’t expect to leave you so soon. I really thought I would be here for you. You are the best kid a mother could have. I am proud of you. Nana Grace will take care of you. Don’t cry daddy, smile. I love to see you smile. Remember I love you my boy.” Mom Those honored to serve as Pallbearers are Juan Jose Munoz, Bubba Villa, Remi Villa, Mathew Garcia, Bobby Garcia, Mark Villa Jr., Dominic Villa, Diego Villa, Oscar Torres, Gabriel Torres, and Joaquin Moreno. Those blessed to serve as Honorary Pallbearers are Elias Villa, Mark Villa Sr., Christina Jaramillo, Eddie, and Bobby. There will be a viewing at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Rosary will be recited at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at 9:30 AM, followed by a Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.
