Maria Del Rosario Tirado, 65, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020, in Roswell, New Mexico. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Maria’s family at www.andersonbethany.com. SERVICES: A Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. On January 27, 1955, Maria was born to Miguel and Trinidad Cornejo in Jalisco, Mexico. Maria was one of the Roswell Independent School District bus driver. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading and working on puzzles. Maria’s spirit, smile, and presence will be deeply missed by her loved ones. “Mom, You led by example, mom. You planted so many seeds in us kids. Looking back at my life I see that I have my foot in so many things as I learned from you. You were a homemaker, an accountant, a handyman, a businesswoman, a coach, a great dancer, a loyal exceptional wife, and let’s not forget a firm disciplinarian plus so much more. You knew how to enjoy life and you filled a room with your beautiful laugh. You were a great sister and friend to so many who loved you and adored you. The morning before I knew of your passing something was telling me that you were going to be healed and now, I know that the Lord was telling me that He has healed you and that you are in the comfort of His embrace. The Apostle Paul said, “to be absent from the body is to be home with the Lord.” As believers in Christ, we have that blessed promise that we will all reunite with our loved ones in Christ and with the Lord Himself forever. I see you dancing in His presence and with that great beautiful smile, I will never, ever forget. Love you mom and until we see each other again. Your daughter Lourdes.” SURVIVORS: Those left to cherish memories of Maria are her daughter, Lourdes Nuno; son, Gabriel Tirado; daughter, Leticia Tirado; and son, Glenn Tirado; grandchildren: Samantha, Sarah, Ryan, Diego, Sabrina, Marissa, Richard, Erick, Emily, Elenor, Christopher, Vivian, Alex, Anthony, and Annaji; great-grandchildren: Miah, Leo, Gabriel, Malachi, Armani, Zane, Xavids, Sir Ryan, Amira; parents, Miguel Cornejo and Trinidad Perez; brother, Antonio Cornejo; as well as his sister, Mary Cornejo. PRECEDED: Maria was preceded in death by her parents, Miguel and Trinidad Cornejo. The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to the Nunez family for everything.
