Marilee Baca

A rosary will be recited for Marilee Baca, of Roswell at 2:00 PM, Friday, Jan. 9, 2015 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Memorial services will follow at 3:00 PM with Deacon Jesus Herrera officiating. Family and friends will be gathering at the Yucca Center after the services. Marilee went to be with the Lord, Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015 surrounded by the Love of her family. Marilee was born June 3, 1947 to Remigio and Celia Garica in Durango, Colorado. Marilee married Patricio Baca on April 30, 1977 in Ignacio, Colorado. She lived her childhood life in Durango, Colorado moved to Roswell, NM with husband Patricio and children 30 years ago. Patricio, Celia, Yans’Z, Nini survives Marilee at the family home. Marilee was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Her catholic background was in Durango, Colorado at Sacred Heart Catholic School. She then cared for her mother, Celia until she joined the Lord. Marilee relocated to Roswell, NM where she completed her associates in business. With that she worked for St. John’s Catholic Church. She decided to become a housewife and tend to her three children. Marilee enjoyed spending her time with her grandkids. She also had many collections of Coca Cola, rosaries, big clocks, religious articles and many more. She loved talking on the phone with family and friends. She was very involved with her kids, sports, education, and school activities, etc. After the years she became more involved with her grandchildren and stayed home and enjoying her favorite TV show and novelas. She would always be listening to the Spanish radio to enjoy the music. Marilee is survived by her husband, Patricio Baca; three children, Celia Baca, Cimarinda Baca and fiancé Daniel Franco, Patricio Geraro Baca; five grandchildren, Patricio “Nini” Baca, Salayandrina Garcia, Paul Baca, Yans’Z Baca, Remigio Franco all of Roswell; numerous nieces and nephews. She had privledge to baptize 9 Godchildren; Joey, Carmen, Lucia, Sabrina, Elizabeth, Luis, Bianca, Nora and Patricio. Marilee was preceded in death by her parents, Remigio and Celia Garcia and her brother, Michael Garcia. “ Our father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name; Thy kingdom come thy will be done. Marilee fue a estar con el Señor, el Jueves, 01 de enero 2015, rodeada por el amor de su familia. Marilee nació el dia 03 de junio 1947 a Remigio y Celia Garica en Durango, Colorado. Marilee se casó con Patricio Baca el 30 de abril de 1977 en Ignacio, Colorado. Ella vivió su vida infantil en Durango, Colorado trasladó a Roswell, Nuevo México con su esposo Patricio y niños hace 30 años. Patricio, Celia, Yans'Z, Nini le sobreviva Marilee en la casa familiar. Marilee era miembra de la Iglesia Católica San Juan Bautista. Su formación católica estaba en Durango, Colorado en la Escuela Católica el Sagrado Corazón. A continuación, se preocupaba por su madre, Celia hasta que se unió al Señor. Marilee reubicó en Roswell, Nuevo México, donde completó sus asociados. Ella estaba muy involucrado con sus niños, deportes, educación, y actividades escolares, etc. Después de los años se vuelve más involucrados con sus nietos y se quedó en casa y disfrutar de su programa favorito de televisión y novelas. Ella siempre escuchaba la radio en español para disfrutar de la música. Marilee le sobrevive su esposo, Patricio Baca; tres hijos, Celia Baca, Cimarinda Baca y su prometido Daniel Franco, Patricio Geraro Baca; cinco nietos, Patricio "Nini" Baca, Salayandrina García, Paul Baca, Yans'Z Baca, Remigio Franco todos de Roswell; numerosos sobrinos y sobrinas. Había privledge bautizar 9 ahijados; Joey, Carmen, Lucía, Sabrina, Elizabeth, Luis, Bianca, Nora y Patricio. Marilee fue precedida en la muerte sus padres, Remigio y Celia García y su hermano, Michael García. "Padre nuestro que estás en los cielos, santificado sea tu nombre; Venga tu reino hágase tu voluntad. En la tierra como en el cielo.
