Mary Anderson

Mary Anderson of Roswell passed away into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at her residence in Roswell. She was 89 years old. A Rosary will be recited for Mary at 7pm, Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass will be held at 10am, Friday, May 25, 2012 at St. Peter’s Church with Father Charlie Martinez officiating. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. Our Mother from the day we were each born, was a fierce protector of her children and grandchildren. She raised us to be strong and independent adults. Our Mother while sometimes untraditional lived to make our lives so much better than her own. She loved each of us no matter what we did or what we said. Her life was filled with extreme loss and sadness and she still endured through it all. We are who we are because of her and her love, we will remain strong. So, she was not only one of the best cooks we ever knew she inspires us to grow and be who we are. We will love and miss you “Mom”, until we meet again. Mary is preceded in death by mother, Guadalupe Chavez; first husband, Michael DiNapoli; second husband, John Anderson; sons, Harry DiNapoli and Mark Anderson; a sister; three brothers; and uncle, Manuel Chavez. Those left behind to cherish Mary’s memory are daughters, Vera Mein-Taormina and her husband, Dominick of Roswell and Debra Anderson of Round Rock, TX; sons, Michael DiNapoli of Seattle, WA and Fred DiNapoli and his wife, Cindy of Phoenix, AZ; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
