Michael Joe Hernandez We were blessed with the birth of Michael Joe on March 25, 1981. After a strong and diligent battle with a heart condition, he received his wings on December 28, 2007. Michael is survived by his wife Mirna and sons Erick Michael and A.J. Hernandez. His mother Sandy Hernandez, father Rick Hernandez and step-mother Stella, Grandparents Monroe and Jo Sedillo (Nana & Papa), Elisa Hernandez and. Great Grandmothers Celia Lucero and Carolyn Clayton, Sister Rikki Hernandez, Extended parents Adolph and Cecilia Castrillo; God parents RoseAnn Trujillo, Richard Martinez, and “Uncle” John Arias.; Father in-law Raymundo Estrada; Sister in-laws Mari, Marisol, Socorro and Lorena.; Brother in-law Mundo; Aunts and Uncles Bea and David Gray, Carolyn and Jeff Koenig, James and Mary Hernandez, Mary and Doug Talbert, Patricia and Gary Rossi, and George Hernandez. He is also survived by numerous cousins; Special friends Steve and Becky Aguilar, Kevin Luevano, “Euro” Steve Koiner, Tony McIntire, Teri Romero, Mark, Joan, Danica, Britt, Kelly and Molly, and his favorite pet “Sancho”. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Jimmy Hernandez and cousin, Christopher James Hernandez. As for his hobbies, Michael loved tracking the weather and letting everybody know what to expect, playing video games, and just kicking back with his friends. The more, the merrier was Michael’s philosophy. Special thanks to Jim and Mary Hernandez, Bernice Castillo, Dr. Richard Pinon, Dr. William Berman, Dr. Craig Jensen, Dr. William Dean, Nurses Maureen, Tammy, Cherry, and Marsha from Presbyterian Hospital who took care of and treated Michael with dignity and respect. A Miracle One Day as God looked upon this earth He saw a baby Having trouble at birth A miracle was needed So our great God heeded He gave us this child Who was so kind and mild Such a blessing was he So grateful we’ll always be Now it’s time for him to rest being with God is the best We’ll always remember you In out hearts and minds too We love you Michael Joe.
