Michelle “Shell” Horton, 31, was accepted into heaven by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, September 10, 2023. There will be a viewing on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home and Crematory from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A rosary will be held on Monday, September 25, 2023, at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home and Crematory at 9:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Service to begin at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at South Park Cemetery. On October 31, 1991, Michelle was born to Nancy Aragon and Larry Horton. Michelle was a cheerleading coach and attended St John’s Catholic Church. She was a Scorpio who loved the phases of the moon, the zodiac, and the alignment of the stars. Michelle will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Those left to eternally treasure and cherish memories of Michelle are her children: Jonathan, Jr, Carlos, and Avonna Quintero; parents: Nancy Aragon and Larry Horton; brothers: Anthony Horton and Manuel Horton; aunts and uncles: Kathy and Willie Vegara, Betty Vale, Augustine Aragon and Cheryl, MaryHelen and Alvin Padilla, Grace Lozano and Joe, Abraham, Nancy, Raymond and Gloria, Jimmy and Linda, Stella and Jesus, and Ernie; nino and nina: Ernie and Cynthia (Godparents); nieces and nephews: Eliana Horton, Larissa, Jeremiah, Aubrey, Janelle, Renezamay, and Eva Horton; numerous cousins and friends; her beloved dog and cat: Luna and Sugar. Michelle is preceded in death by her grandparents: Eva and Domingo Aragon, Andres and Lola Horton; uncles: Johnny Montoya Sr, Alan Montoya, Prometivo Montoya and Toby Horton; aunts: Lucy Chavez and Angie Montoya; cousins: Nichole Lucero, Monica Chavez, Alex Horton, Larry Joe Anaya, Billy and Johnny Montoya Jr. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Anthony Horton, Manuel Horton, Jeremiah Horton, Jonathan Quintero, Alan Padilla, William Vegara, JJ Horton, and Manuel Gallegos. Those blessed to be chosen as honorary Pallbearers are Melissa Vegara, Eva Vale, Crystal Lozano, Aaron Vegara, Gary Lozano Jr, Eliana Horton, Larissa Horton, Mario Zavala Jr, Domingo Vale Jr, Tesia Rodrigues, Nichole Vargas, Tierra Vargas, Richard Hernandez, Barney Montoya, Ernesto Horton, Karina Horton and Esther Vale, RayJoe Horton Jr, Marci Sanchez, and Daniel Garcia. In Memory of Michelle, you’re welcome to wear a Raiders jersey, black, or grey T-shirt because the Las Vegas Raiders were her favorite football team and she loved watching Sunday morning, Sunday night and Monday night Football along with the NFL Draft she was an avid Football fan and not only cheered and watched the game but new the game very well. Michelle’s tribute was lovingly written by her family. In shadows deep, life’s final breath, a journey ends, a soul takes rest. Memoires linger, love remains, in hearts and minds, eternal flames. Just like your favorite colors, black and grey is all I see during the days. During holidays was your most dearest, you showed all your love and interest. Your spirit is deep and strong but now that you’re gone it seems to carry on. You are loved by many and forever will be, but now let’s let your soul be free. Missing you so much you left us broken-hearted not knowing what to do, but now we find such comfort in memoires of you. The legacy you left us was of happiness and love, and that shines on forever from the glorious skies above. You brought joy and beauty from the moment of your birth, now in Heaven you’re and angel, just as you were on earth.
