Nataly Alexis Gonzalez

Nataly Alexis Gonzalez was granted her angel wings on November 1, 2016. Family and friends surrounded her on her final days embracing her with endless love, as she had shared hers with all of us, in her short but memorable life. For all those who knew her, you knew Nataly’s heart was as big as the ocean and left an impact on anyone who met her. Her hugs ended only when you wanted them to. Always being the first to greet you, Nataly made it a point to be the last one to say goodbye as well. Her laughter filled your heart with joy and love. Despite having a majority of boy cousins, Nataly expanded her collection of Barbie dolls and Little Pet Shop toys. She shared a love for superheroes like her father and brother, never afraid to open herself up to different interests of those whom she loved. Although she lived a short life, she experienced travel and adventure, having ice skated in the winters up in Colorado and exploring caverns in her home state of New Mexico. Fearless in her endeavors, she stayed up nights watching horror movies and shows with her family. She went first before her male cousins to ride a mechanical bull and although she had a small frame, went down a zip-line as well. She preferred to listen to female artists because she didn’t like to listen to boys sing but would dance along to Eye of The Tiger and Thriller when her father put it on. Nataly leaves us with the reminder that each day is an opportunity to create and love. We will miss her drawings and silly gestures that made us laugh. Forever in our hearts she shall stay, and we all remain so very grateful for the years that we were able to play and learn from Nataly, for though she was young, she taught us the most important lesson of all and that is to embrace life everyday, with everything we have to create lasting memories with those close to us all. Nataly is survived by her loving parents: Arturo Gonzalez and Clara Calderon; brother, Davian Gonzalez; paternal grandparents: Rogelio Gonzalez Sr.; and Socorro Bermudez De Gonzalez; maternal grandfather, Luis Calderon Sr., uncles: Luis Calderon Jr., Manuel Calderon, Rogelio Gonzalez Jr., Eduardo Torres, Donovan Romero; aunts: Estrella Telles, Nuvia Gonzalez, Ivette Calderon, Cynthia Gonzalez; cousins: Luis Calderon III, Celeste Calderon, Jose Antonio Saldana Jr., Carlitos Franco II, Anjel J. Franco, Yamaris Torres, Ulysses Torres, and expecting baby cousin, Romero. Viewing will be held at the Anderson Bethany Funeral Home Friday, November 4, 2016, from 1:00-5:00 PM. Memorial Service will be Saturday, November 5, 2016, at 10:00 AM at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home, with Burial to follow at South Park Cemetery.
