Nathan Brock Jr. Obituary Nathan Brock Jr, 65 passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, in Lubbock, TX. McBride Cemetery at 10:00 AM Nathan Brock Jr. was born on July 14, 1956, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He worked a variety of jobs before joining the US ARMY on August 13, 1976. He was stationed in South Korea, West Germany, Panama, and Kuwait. He finished His tour at Fort Bliss, TX. Nathan moved to Roswell, NM working at Diamond Cross Inc and was employed there for six years. He then attended ENMU-R and graduated with an Aviation Maintenance Degree. During His employment, He also worked at New Mexico Youth Challenge Academy and the New Mexico Military Institute. Nathan enjoyed watching western movies with his family and spending time with the family. His very favorite sports team was the Raiders. He will be dearly missed by all. Survivors: Those left to eternally treasure and cherish memories of Nathan: Wife; Eva Brock; Mother; Zenobia Brock; daughters: Kim, Kisha, Shawna, and Shaunta, and Zenobia Brock; sisters: Denise Marie Brock and Lisa Ann Brock; many Grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers: Marvin Brock; Steven Brock; Michael Brock. Preceded: Preceding Nathan in death was his brother, Terry Brock; grandmothers: Julie Davis and Dorothy Richardson; grandfathers: Houston Brock and Monroe Brock. Special thank you to Mirador Health Services, Dialysis, and taxi services; Covenant Medical Staff And His daughter Shaunta Richardson for caring for Her father. And all who supported and helped during His time of need. Only the Best God saw my day was getting tired A cure was not to be God put His arms around Him And whispered “Come with me”. With tears in His eyes We watched Him fade away slowly A hard battle of illness He fought strong, but couldn’t Take no more Although we loved Him deeply We could not make Him stay A soldier heart stopped beating Hard working hands to rest God broke our hearts to prove To us He only takes the best!!!
