A wonderful wife, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, NEDRA BURRELL, 70, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2020, in Roswell, NM. SERVICES: A Graveside Service will be held at South Park Cemetery on Tuesday, April 14, 2020, 2:00 PM. On September 21, 1949, Nedra was born to Hamilton and Anne Buell in Addington, IL. She graduated in Las Cruces, NM. Nedra was the beloved wife of Jimmie Lee Burrell, whom she married on March 21, 1998, in Roswell, NM. She was a member of Church on the Move. Nedra worked all her life, she was a retired waitress, and because she was no longer able to work, she began to be a taxi for her older friends around town. Nedra would take them to the doctor and do errands, and she loved it! She was the best waitress you could ever see, and it made her heart so happy to care for people. Nedra was also a certified nurse assistant. Nedra liked watching her birds and squirrels and especially loved the little one-legged bird she would see out her window. She enjoyed calling her children, grandchildren, and family. She loved her word puzzles, reading the newspaper, and drinking coffee in the mornings. Nedra always took care of everyone she loved, especially her husband, Jimmie Lee. The love they had for each other was astounding. Nedra’s family was so important to her, and she adored her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and family with all her heart and then some. “You are so loved and will be dearly missed by all the family, our sweet Mom, Meemaw, Auntie. Oodles and Noodles.”; “I’ll see you there with the Keeper of the stars; I love you, “Honey Bear.”, my Sweet Pea” SURVIVORS: Nedra is survived by her husband, Jimmie Lee Burrell of Roswell, NM; children: Delbert and Susie Haddox of Arizona, Howard and Stephanie Haddox of Arizona, Jammie and Lawanda Burrell; Greg Taylor and fiancée, Shannon Boyle; grandchildren: Marissa Reed, James Wylie, Justin Wylie, Stephanie and Greg Hammons, Kimberlee, Joshua, Brytanne, and Josiah Haddox, Clayton and Nathan Haddox, Keela Peters, Austin, Joshua, Timothy, and Caleb Burrell; great-grandchildren: Samson Bo Wylie, Jodan M., and Kiah R. Wylie, Andrew JE Knowls, Jacob and Joshua Hammons, Johnathen Burrell; Raquel and Anthony Marks; great-great-grandaughter, Sasha Grace Marks; siblings: Hamilton and Marie Buell, Susan Hooten, Roberta Haddox, Patty Burrell; nieces and nephews: Shannon and Pam Burrell, Vallarie Russell, Julie, GigGi, Jim Bob, and Monica Haddox, Charity Bacca, Chanelle Hill, Chris Peppers, Savanna Russell and children; Frank and Gloria Buell, Paulien Ramirez, Kathy Nezbit, Trina Barella, Aaron D.
