Nicholas Garcia

A rosary will be recited for Nicholas Garcia, 65, of Roswell at 10 AM Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home, with a funeral mass to begin at 10:30 AM, and an internment to follow at South Park Cemetery. Nicholas passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025, surrounded by family. Nicholas was born on December 25, 1959, to Jose and Delfina Garcia. Nick was a dedicated senior salesman for Affiliated Foods for almost 20 years. He was a hard and dedicated worker. He enjoyed going to the casinos, fishing, and watching football, especially the Kansas City Chiefs, and most of all he loved cooking. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Nick survived by his spouse Cynthia Garcia (Padilla); his two stepsons, Dominic and Charlie Bell; and grandchild Desirae Bell; siblings, Isidro Garcia and wife Margie of Moriarty, New Mexico, Armando Garcia, Jerry Garcia and wife, Alice of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Betty Tucker and husband, Tom, and Dorothy Garcia all of Odessa, Texas; sister-in-law, Dina Garcia; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Nicholas is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Delfina Garcia; his brothers Henry Garcia and Danny Garcia; brother-in-law, David Velasco; sisters-in-law Vangie Garcia and Grace Garcia; two nieces Sonia Franco Garcia, and Michelle Garcia. Honorary pallbearers will be Dominic and Charlie Bell, Desiree Bell, Nicole Garcia, Joe D. Garcia, Costa Garcia, Joe Daniel Garcia, Adam Garcia, Fabian Velasco, and Mondo Garcia; and close friends to Nicholas Garcia, Mike (Gato) Delgado, Alvin Dominguez and Joe Barraza.
