PATRICIA TEAGUE HAS GONE HOME “I have fought a good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Yes, I am fully confident and would rather be at home in the Lord, for we must all stand before Christ to be judged. We each receive whatever we deserve for the good or evil we have done in our bodies.” May my memory be for a blessing. CELEBRATE! PATRICIA C. TEAGUE, 62, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2020. SERVICES: A Graveside Service will be held at Hagerman/Dexter Cemetery on Thursday, February 13, 2020, at 2:00 PM. There will be a Celebration of Life (TBA) at a later date and it will be posted on Anderson Bethany Funeral Home’s website informing you when the arrangements will take place. On October 26, 1957, Patricia was born to Jackie Dean Teague Sr. and Nancy Jean Smith in Pampa, TX. She was raised in Dexter, NM, and was very proud of her town. Patricia attended Dexter High School, where she played volleyball and basketball, and after graduating, she attended New Mexico State University College. While in college, Patricia continued her athletic activities and also studied social services, secondary education, and physics. She raised two very appreciative boys in Albuquerque, NM, and worked full time. Patricia then returned to Roswell/Dexter to care for her mother and father. She worked full time as an Income Support Specialist Supervisor with the State of New Mexico while still giving wonderful amounts of time and care to her family. Patricia took great pride in her work and the fact that she was helping people during their time of need. She found her employment and family to be very fulfilling. After retirement, Patricia began to offer assistance to people through Teague Professional Services helping people complete proper resumes and understanding medical/legal documents, helping others gave her so much joy. Patricia’s love was as constant as it was unconditional. Her spirit and boundless compassion made the world a better place, enriching and encouraging all that knew her. SURVIVORS: Left behind to eternally treasure memories of Patricia are her children: Ryan Teague, and Matthew Teague; grandson, Hezekiah Teague; brothers: Jack and Sue Teague, Tom and Leslie Teague; nieces: Candice Teague and Megan Teague; nephew, Austin Teague; numerous cousins; and her precious cat, Cheaba. PRECEDED: Preceded Patricia in death were her parents, Jackie Dean Sr. and Nancy Jean Smith. 1 Corinthians 15:54-58 (KJV) So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
