Robert Allen Glass, 56, was welcomed into heaven on Thursday, October 17, 2024. He passed away peacefully at home in Dexter, NM surrounded by his loving family following a yearlong battle with cancer. (The family has agreed he was greeted in heaven by his brother- n-law Steve with... Hey I know you!) A celebration of life-well-lived will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Waymaker Church, 202 South Sunset, Roswell, NM., with a Graveside Service to follow at South Park Cemetery, 3101 S Main Street, Roswell, NM. Robert was born September 13, 1968, to Billy and Inez Glass. He enjoyed working, racing, and spending time with family and his granddaughters. He was a remarkable son, husband, father, brother, and friend, with a generous spirit and was always willing to help, no matter the task. He prioritized his family and put others before himself, with a smile. He created a successful business (Outer Limits RV Repair) which he enjoyed serving his community and the surrounding areas with his sons. Robert made many friends along the way and through the years, also working for Berkshire Hathaway for 16 years. He was a proud son, husband, father, and grandfather. Robert lives on in the hearts of his loving wife, Sheila; mother, Inez; sons: Robert Il (Tori), Ryan (Summer), and Korbin (Connor); stepdaughter, Charissa (Liza); two granddaughters: Danica and Kayla; sister-in-law, Shauna Daffern (Troey); brother-in-law, Jeff Reed (Karen); and numerous nieces and nephews. Robert was proceeded in death by his father, Billy Glass; brother, Ricky Burton; sister, Rhonda Burton; as well as his in-laws: Willie and Kay Reed. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to Pastor Joel Wood and the Waymaker Church family, Nora Lea Cancer Center, Gentiva Hospice Care and Myra, Ruben Supan and staff, thank you for all of your care and compassion.
