Robert "Robbie" Hatcher

Robert Louis Hatcher, Jr (Robbie) was born September 29, 1992 to Belinda Gay Campbell of San Antonio, TX and Robert Louis Hatcher, Sr. of Roswell, NM. Robbie left this world on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at 2:05 PM in Houston, TX. He was loved and adored by numerous family and friends. In his younger years, Robbie enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing classical music on the piano. He loved his animals and had fun teasing his friends, especially the girls, with his pet tarantula. He always loved building things and trying to make boats, cars, trucks, motorcycles and dirt bikes run faster. He competed in many events including mud bogging at a very young age. Robbie was attending ENMU-Roswell for mechanical engineering. He was into outlaw racing andracing his truck, the Gray Ghost now alled the Gray Angel. He always had a love for racing and enjoyed competing at numerous events. Robbie started his own business, RHX Tuning, and was known nationwide for his mechanical abilities. He also helped his father with their local business. His parents survive him, and grandmother and her husband, Anna B. Hatcher Spomer and Melvin spomer, of Roswell, NM; grandmother and her husband, Hilda and Loyd Husted, of Farmington, NM; grandfather and his wife, Duke and Sue Powell, of Albuquerque, NM; his aunt and her husband Carrie and Rick Rawlinson, of Peachtree City, GA; with their two girls, Courtney and Sarah; uncle and his wife, Aaron and Tammy Powell, of Albuquerque, NM; cousins Mike and Robin Doyal; and their son, Tater, who spent a lot of time with Robbie growing up, of Belton, TX, cousins Robert and Carol Doyal, of Roswell, NM; cousins Chandra Powell and her son, Jax of Clovis, NM; as well as numerous other cousins. His grandfather, Edgar Ray Hatcher, Sr, great-grandparents, Ruby and Louis Doyal, and uncle, Ray Hatcher, Jr preceded him in death. A memorial service arranged by his mother and grandparents will be held Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home Chapel. All are invited to attend. His grandma, Anna B. asked that you talk to your loved ones about depression and prevent another tragic loss as they have all experienced!
