ROSA LINDA GARZA--An adoring wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Rosa Linda Garza, 69, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018. Services: A Rosary will be recited at Assumption Church at 9:30 AM, on Tuesday, December 11, 2018. A Memorial Service will be held after the Rosary at 10:00 AM, immediately followed by placement into the columbarium. A Reception will be held at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 3201 S Sunset Ave, Roswell, 88203. On May 25, 1949, Linda was born to Dolores and Manuela Rodriguez in Artesia, New Mexico. She graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Business. Linda was married and sealed to her true love, Jesse Garza on July 23, 1983, in Roswell, New Mexico. She retired from the State of NM, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services, as a Rehabilitation Technician, assisting people with disabilities in search for employment. Linda's career was in public service, as she worked at Commission for the Blind and ENMU- R. Linda was a caring and compassionate person to every person she met. Her hobbies were going to Bingo and making gifts for her grandchildren, they were the light of her life. Linda’s most treasured moments were spending time with her beloved husband of thirty-five years and her precious pets. “Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” Psalms 23:6 Survivors: Those left behind to cherish memories of Linda are her husband, Jesse Garza; sons: Danny Garza, Sam and Naomi Garza; daughters: Jessica Garza (Richard Hernandez), and Clarissa Garza; thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; sister, Arlene Martinez; sister-in-law, Pina Rodriquez; numerous nephews and nieces; and precious pets, Sandy and Canella. Preceded: Preceding Linda in death were her parents, Delores Rodriguez and Manuela Cervantes Rodriquez; brothers: Johnny Rodriquez, and Lolito Rodriquez; brother-in-law, Zeke Martinez; and nephew, Mark Martinez.
