Santos Jesus Coronado

Our beloved Santos Coronado gained his wings on January 17, 2022, to reunite with his parents, Moises Coronado Sr. & Maria “Teri” Coronado, who gave birth to him on November 30, 1977. Santos is survived by the love of his life, Cecelia Sanchez Coronado. They married on February 14, 2006, and then remarried April 18, 2008, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Roswell, NM Santos is also survived by his son Santos Ray Gamboa and wife Shelby and Stepsons Christopher Roy Anthony Andazola, Daniel Ray Andazola and wife Celestina. Grandchildren: Natalie “Stinker butt” Andazola & Aaliyah Vallejos, Elliana “Skin & Bones” Andazola & Michelle Montoya, Christopher Andazola Jr., Anthony Andazola, Frankie Baca, Emily Andazola, Azra Andazola, Noah Andazola, Daniel Ray Andazola & Christina Archuleta, Nathaniel Andazola, Manuel Andazola, Celestina “Chimicky” Andazola, Sebastien Andazola, Vinancio “Vinny” Ramirez, Jason Brown, Axl Gamboa and Ellias Gamboa. Other survivors include his siblings: Anna & Manny Preciado of Big Springs, TX, Steven & Martha Coronado, Modesta & Joe Mendez of Roswell, Angelica & Easy Sanchez, Moises Coronado Jr. of Roswell, along with several nieces & nephews Angelique “Lique” & Summer Sanchez, Monique Sanchez, Jose Mendez, Alyza Mendez, Daniel Mendez, Desarae Lucero, Saije Hernandez, Kassandra & James Perez, Moises Coronado 3rd, Adriana Coronado, Steven Santos Coronado of Roswell, Victor Ray Lara of New Braunfels, TX, Manuel Preciado Jr. and Alyssa Preciado of Big Springs, TX. Surviving uncles and aunts from his father’s side are: Chino Coronado, Jessie & Hope Coronado, Estella Soto, Juana Lupe Coronado & Delia Romero. Surviving uncles and aunts from his mother’s side are: Ramon & Margie Andrade of Del Rio, TX, Jessie & Carlos Payen of Big Springs, TX, and Lorenzo Montoya of Abilene, TX. Santos is also survived by his mother-in-law “Suegreta,” Cecilia J. Sanchez; they had their own special bonding that would drive you crazy. Santos loved all his nephews and nieces equally, but the apple of his eye was Lique Sanchez, who also loved her Tio Santos unconditionally as they all did. All the grandkids, nephews & nieces had their own special bonding with Santos; he was a kid at heart, and the memories he made with each of them will forever be cherished and kept close to their hearts. He never failed to leave before leaving everyone with a good laugh or two. Numerous family and friends that also survive Santos to many to mention. Santos is preceded in death by both parents, Moises Coronado Sr. & Maria “Teri” Coronado; maternal & paternal grandparents; numerous uncles & aunts; niece, Stefany Lucero; and his father-in-law, Efriam Savino M. Sanchez. Santos’s special interests were collecting rocks and hiding them in his wife’s plants so no one would take them, playing darts, chess, dominos, cruising his wife’s 58, and making crosses with his wife. His favorite football team was the New Orleans Saints, and only because his name in English is Saint, but most of all was hanging out with his family and friends. Santos will be missed by so many, especially his beautiful wife Cecelia and granddaughter Natalie “Stinker Butt” Andazola, who he had the pleasure of raising and being part of her everyday life. Cecelia & Natalie really were his ride-or-die partners all the way to the end. From his family, “we would like to say thank you, Cecelia, for all the love and all you did for our crazy brother Santos (GHETTO BOY VGV) for the past 20 plus years.” Santos’s wife would like to thank each and everyone for being there to help her get through the hardest part of burying her love. And would love to give a special thank you to Artie and Martha Luna, Santos’s cousins, for all they have done; there are no words that can describe the both of you. You two just went above and beyond and continue to do so for many people in need. May GOD abundantly bless the both of you with all you ask and think. Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Daniel Andazola, Christopher Andazola, Artie Luna, Manny Preciado, Orlando Sanchez, Raymond Gonzales. A viewing will be on Friday, January 28, 2022, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, followed by a Rosary at 6:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. In Crazy Town Roswell we have lost one of our own with respect to his loved ones our condolences we send, he was a good Vato with a character all his own. Respect he always gave so respect was always shown. Back when he was younger in his neighborhood he walked proud. He is now with the angels as he sings loud, my lovely wife don’t cry for me I could no longer be. I know this hurts I never wanted to leave you lonely and for I knew that only. As the tears flow remember never to let our memories go. Many people loved me not sure why because I wasn’t always so fly. I lived a good life with my wife. My peeps have always been my #1 I did my best to make everyone have fun. I loved the life I was given I could go anywhere in my Crazy Town respect I was given. I know this is hard to take in who I was but remember I didn’t have to pretend. A helping hand was all I had to lend. I did what I could to be of good kin I wasn’t ready for my life to end. Everyone chooses the road in which they take I know I made a big mistake it has caused so many hearts to break, but remember I never had to be fake. All my life I tried to be sincere and leaving my granddaughter was my biggest fear. My wife will always have a special place all her own in this crazy heart that should’ve been smart. I didn’t mean to leave her alone; I appreciate all the love for her that is being shown. Please understand that God called me home. Carry me Homies lay me to rest living without me will be a test. I admit I lived a hell of a life more because of my beautiful wife. So, lineup the rides and the viclas to and throw a cruise or 2. Raise some awareness let my story be told, all this in love and respect for me it will always be. This town I lived in knew my name and my game because I had no shame now Santos Coronado is in no pain. Listen to me loud and clear shouting please know I loved all of you oh so dear.
