Shane Alan McMath, 38, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025, in Roswell, New Mexico. Please take a moment to share a kind thought or memory with Shane’s family at www.andersonbethany.com. Services to honor Shane will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home and Crematory, with a viewing from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, a funeral service to begin at 2:00 PM, and an interment to follow at South Park Cemetery. Jim Ridgeway will officiate. Shane Alan Cisneros McMath was born on May 4, 1987, in Roswell, New Mexico, to Celestino Cisneros and Patricia McMath. Shane was an entrepreneur and business owner of Shane’s Maintenance and Repair. He was a proud father and grandfather who loved his family very much. Shane loved to spend time with his wife and family, whether it was at his favorite fishing spot, dancing, listening to music, or four-wheeling. Known for his positive attitude, his ability to make people laugh, and his love for the Dallas Cowboys. Shane was a great advice-giver and took pride in people coming to him for his opinion. He helped so many people in many ways. He had a passion for writing letters to his wife, Nakita, and she will forever treasure many of his words written in love. He will be truly missed by his friends and family. Left to cherish and treasure their memories of Shane are his wife, Nakita Pena McMath; his children, Annavette, Revae, Christopher, Renezamay, Autumn, Claudia, Clarissa, and Shane; grandchildren, Ezkiel and a baby boy on the way, Shane Lucas; siblings, Celestino, Amanda, Ashley, Michael, David, and Elias; parents, Celestino Cisneros and Patricia McMath; grandparents, Fletcher and Johnnie Sidbury; uncles, Danny Mairot and Alan Patterson; and aunts, Denise Orquiz and Quada Farr; close friends, Christopher Sifuentes, Silvester Torres, and JJ Hernandez; and numerous friends and family members that loved him. Shane is preceded in death by his aunt, Pamela Patterson. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Christopher Meadows, Jerry Najar, Joseph Silva, Shane McMath, David, and Celestino. Shane’s family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home and Crematory for their hard work and care for Shane.
