Soledad Nava

A rosary will be recited for Soledad Nava , 73, at 6pm on Monday, Dec. 10, 2012 at St. John’s Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 10 am Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012 at St. John’s Catholic Church with Father Gonzalo Moreno officiating. Burial to follow in South Park Cemetery. Soledad passed away on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012. Visitation will be at 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm on Monday, Dec. 10, 2012 at the funeral home. Soledad was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a very strong woman, a super woman and very compassionate. She not only raised her kids, grandkids, and her kids friends and always had an open door to everyone. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Reyes Nava of the family home; her children, Elia Martinez and her husband, Nicolas of Roswell; Jaquline Rodriguez and her husband, Oscar of Ness City, Kansas; Maria Rodriguez and her husband, Modesto of Matamores, Mexico; Javier Nava and Denise Miller of Renssaler, Indiana; Jose Nava and his wife, Terri of Fort Worth, Texas; Juana Aguilar of Roswell; Alberto Nava and Paula Smith of Modesto, California; Luis Nava and his wife, Victoria of Roswell; Carlos Nava and his wife, Anne of Santa Fe; Angelina Nava and Gabriel Aguilar of Roswell; Soledad Valles and her husband, Jaime of Roswell; her sisters, Emigdia Urrutia and Clara Saucedo both of El Paso, Texas; thirty-three grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Soledad was preceded in death by her parents, Eleuterio and Maria Bautista and numerous sisters. Pallbearers will be Javier, Jose , Alberto, Luis, Carlos, Frank and Richard Nava and Oscar Rodriguez, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Veronica Sifuentes, Jaime Valles and Gabriel Aguilar.
