Timothy Wayne Gauna

Timothy Wayne Gauna, 50, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2019. Tim spent his last days surrounded by family and friends who showered him with love and kindness. Services: A Rosary and Mass with be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at 10:00 AM. Tim’s final wishes were for him to be cremated and go to his forever home with his daughter, Chylsie. Timothy enjoyed listening to music, watching music videos and rocking out on his new flying V guitar. Pepperoni pizza and chocolate shakes were a must. Tim’s first memory was learning to fish with his dad, Boni. He loved hunting and fishing and being out in nature with his dad. Tim loved his moms cooking and teasing and hanging out with his sisters. Growing up, Tim enjoyed playing football in the Peewee League and listening to music. His love for music started at a young age, pretending he was Gene Simmons from KISS. Tim’s favorite things to do were cruising in his 55 Chevy or riding on his Harley and playing music in bands. Timothy was a true friend who pulled no punches. He lived his dreams of playing rock n roll music, playing blistering fast, heavy metal music on his electric flying V guitar or playing blues on his acoustic. Timothy was always willing to share his experiences and teach music wherever he could. Learning to cook from his mom and dad, Tim shared his cooking expertise with his daughter, Chylsie. As a grandfather, he loved having teatime with his grandbabies, Athena and Alyza. Timothy Wayne Gauna lived life fast and furious with no regrets. Survivors: Timothy leaves behind his parents, Bonifacio and Katherine Gauna; sisters and brothers-in-law: Stephanie (Steffie) and Fernando (Nando) Hernandez, Bridgit (Buzz) Gauna, and Paula (Paul) Harris-Sanchez; daughter, Chylsie Gauna and her Fiancée Gonzalo Lopez II and their daughters, Athena and Alyza, and their first son to be born in March; nieces and nephews: Yvette Hernandez, Steven Nunez III, Wesley Harris, Joseph Harris, Alexis Munoz, Johnny Sanchez II, Patrick Harris II, Elliot Chiles; and special friends, Theresa Soliz, George (Butchie) Boykin, and Merle (Resen) Gregory. Pallbearer: Honored and chosen to be Timothy’s Pallbearer is Joe (Brother) Ramirez. A special “Thank You” to Merle (Resen) Gregory for writing Timothy’s tribute.
