Obituary for Prestina “Tina” M. Montoya A prayer service will be held for Prestina “Tina” M. Montoya, 58, of Roswell at 7 pm Thursday, February 21, 2008, at Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services for Tina will be at South Park Cemetery Friday, February 22, 2008, at 10 am. Tina went home to her Lord and Savior Sunday, February 17, 2008, at Casa Maria Care Center. Viewing for Tina will be from 10 am to 9 pm Thursday. The family will be receiving friends at 303 E. McCune following the services. Tina was born on May 5, 1949 to Antonio J. Duran and Domitila Tofoya Duran here in Roswell. On October 25, 1968, she married her love, Rick Montoya . with whom she had two children she loved dearly. Rick survives Tina at the family home. Tina attended and graduated from Goddard High School in 1967 and attended Southwestern Business College. Tina was a longtime employee of Levi Strauss and had owned and operated her own catering truck R &T's Catering. She was employed by Esperanza Developmental Services and was a long time member of the Upper Room Church. Tina was preceded in death by her father, Antonio Duran, and a brother, Joe Arthur Duran. Tina is survived by her husband, Rick, of the family home; mother, Domitila Duran; son, Richard Montoya and his wife, Beth; daughter, Frances Montoya and fiancé, Magarito Luevano; grandchildren, Angelo, Emmali, Mariah, and Christopher, all of Roswell; brothers, Gilbert Duran and wife, Chris, of Phoenix, AZ and Dr. Daniel Duran and his wife, Debbie of Las Cruces, NM; sister, Diane Duran of Lubbock, TX; parents-in-law, Dick and Josie Montoya of Roswell; several brothers and sisters-in-law; and numerous nephews and nieces. Pallbearers will be Mike Duran, Richard Duran, Albino Tenorio, Gino Romero, Jason Smolky, Johnny Franco, Ronnie Montoya, and Gabriel Smolky. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard A. Montoya, Daniel Duran, Gilbert Duran, Sergio and Edward Aguilar.
